Cool thread! I travel a lot within the United States; it's safe to say that I've been to over 30(?) of the 50 states. I don't travel much internationally, mostly because I never find the time to be able to do that. The last time I've been out of the continent was when I was 2?

I'm flying to South Korea and China this summer, though, as a senior graduation trip, and Australia and New Zealand in the winter. I'd also like to visit Europe sometime, perhaps studying abroad in England or smth.

I love to travel! I do it several times a year, though I've only been through different parts of the U.S. and haven't traveled to another country. It's on my to-do list, however, and I'm hoping that within the next year I'll be able to get started on traveling out of country.~

There's so many places I want to go, but to start I'm going try to visit SK/Japan (make it lengthy trip, and spend time in both places). But very high on my list is Ireland, and if I do that I might as well visit England and Scotland while at it.~

It's not my job, but I have money because I don't buy designer clothes/bags/cosmetics nor luxury cars. And I only own the physicals for like 4 K-Pop albums. I don't go out every week either. It's all about priorities.

Plus cruises and multi-country tours really knock a lot of cities off the bucket list.

That's an awesome senior graduation trip! Is that with your school?

I lived in Okinawa and Nagoya for a total of 5 years. I also travelled to Nara, Kyoto, and Chiba.

I really, really want to go back for an extended period of time someday.

Within the US I've only been to VA, NC, SC, FL, GA, DC, KS, and MA. I have no one around me who likes to travel and I'm not brave enough (or rich enough) to do it alone :rlytearpls:

I also want to visit:

South Korea

Spain

Italy

Sinapore

Thailand

France

Germany

Taiwan

England

Canada

I've only travelled within the U.S. to Oahu, Las Vegas, and Yosemite National Park in California (my home state), but this summer I will be going to Seoul, Korea for a summer study abroad program at Seoul National University. Also, my mother is planning on taking me and my sister to Japan for a weekend when she comes to visit during American labor day weekend.

I said it in my post:

And no, I'm not smart, lol. My GPA is less than a 3.0. But literally anyone who is in college, about to enroll in college, or have graduated from college can go on the program. They only held info session in select schools, though, so if you didn't know about it, that's probably why. I only knew about it because I'm in my university's Korean American Student Association club and they announced about SNU's info session at our university on their Facebook page LOL. Originally I was going to do study abroad in Taiwan, but then I heard about this and decided to go with it instead of the Taiwan trip since I've been wanting to go to Korea.

  • 3 weeks later...

Also how do you guys feel about Air BnB ?!?!??!?!

I'm going to use them for two of the cities that I plan to visit, so I could get you a review after :) it looks nice enough, but make sure to look up at the reviews of the person who listed the place, usually if the people complain it will be there. Also, in general I found that it's more interesting to rent a place when you travel with a group of people. if you're only 2 or 3, it'S not that worth it.

My recommendations for Germany is to definitely have a dictionary if you can't speak German, they don't all speak english there (even in hotels) \o/

People from Spain were really nice, I stayed at someone's house for 2 weeks and they're really easy to get along.

Also, try not to lost yourself in New-York or Paris subways  :derp:

If any of you have questions about places that I mentionned, I'll gladly help you!
