I feel like people have co-opted it too often to mean anyone who isn't a racist, sexist, etc. jerk who cares about and wants to discuss important things. Just because there are people who go about social justice the wrong way doesn't negate actual oppression. Not everyone ofc but big ebough to be noticed. I get it tho, I mean not everyone is a selfless saint. As long as it's improving the word, idgf about the motive.
