sure!!! the only thing i dont miss was the excessive autotune back in 2008-09 and the more evident lack of knowledge on basic english in the lyrics of the songs before 2011

and i also miss how not every idol group is required to have a rapper and when songs didnt have as much random rap brekadowns

I don't like it when people keep saying that they want the past back. Yes, the stuff was funnier in one way or another, but that's like saying that everything sucks which is being produced right now. Everyone is working hard to create good content.

On the other hand, I know why everyone is being so judgemental. Kpop has been exploiting the whole sexy hip hop image and although hip hop is my favourite genre along with rap and r&b, I'm sad that groups don't have their own colour or genre of music they can absolutely feel comfortable in.

Kpop is too much about trends and not about making good quality content the idols can wholeheartedly support.

Variety show wise I can say that Running Man has been in quite the slump the past year or so, but the writers are making efforts to make it better again and the cast is also always entertaining so I hope their hard work will be paid off soon.

Oh and bc someone mentioned it: I actually like those variety shows idols 'make for themselves'. They're fun to watch and I feel like they bring you a tad bit closer to your idol and show you the dynamics in the group better.
