Typically, young girls and women are not allowed many outlets to express their sexualities or view themselves as sexual beings - so pairing a guy they like up with another guy compensates for that. Girls are taught that they're "sluts" for liking/thinking about sex so if they think about sex but it doesn't involve them that erases the guilt. We're also conditioned to view other women as competition so if you see oppa hugging and kissing on another oppa instead of a beautiful girl there's no threat/competition. Link to comment
