Is it during the uploading process? The cameras they use. And speaking of videos, how come some of them shows likes weird lines when theirs movement. Is that also the cameras? Vars 33 Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 YouTube quality is usually lower than other sites because it improves uploading/buffering times, but honestly I watch videos from KBSworld and they look decent @ 720p, and if I want better quality I'll just search for raw 1080/720 versions of the shows ripped from the original TV feeds. The lines problem is because they uploaded an interlaced video to youtube, they should know to upload de-interlaced videos to youtube but I guess they don't really care that much. If you use chrome, download this extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/youtube-options/bdokagampppgbnjfdlkfpphniapiiifn And change your configs to 480 (or 720p if you have fast connection), so everytime you open a new video, it will use 720/480 quality as default. BTW, I decided to test the theory of downloading straight from a tv feed 720p and compared it to the same segment uploaded by MBCKPOP on Youtube at 720p and WOAH. BIG Difference.
