It seems the cancelled Kpop concert trends continues as the Kpop World Festival in Thailand has just been announced for cancellation.

The concert was to be held on August 17th @ Rajamangala National Stadium and would be including acts such as EXO, 4minute, Miss A, Sistar, Boyfriend, Nine Muses, VIXX, and more.

This is another cancelled kpop concert in a string of them, including M!Countdown In Indonesia (click for setlist), Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia (headlined by SNSD), among many others.

Do you guys think concert organizers in southeast asia are finally starting to realize the kpop wave is dying down or do you think it was cancelled for another reason?

So it's the organizers cancelling? IDK. There is probably a reason but...

Your concert is destined for cancellation when you have to fill the lineup with groups like Tiny G, C Clowns, Boyfriend and BTS.

My source in Thailand says they barely sold 20% of the tickets. Seriously though, how do you have 2 members of 2PM go and not have Nichkhun as one of them?

THIS.

It's hilarious they would even go ahead with the "festival" without at least booking two SM acts to appear. Otherwise there's no point for anyone to go see a bunch of nugus who can't even sell out a High School hall in Korea.

I was going to say it was the line-up, but EXO was attending.

What was the arena size and pricing?

Hmmmm organizers should start lowering their expectations on the number of fans that are willing to go and pay high prices for kpop acts
