I see ppl stanning them all the time and I wonder why. I don't think I've ever seen them being bashed and I've seen almost every group get bashed What is is about them? I've tried to listen to their music but it's not my style I'm not too much of a Taemin fan. His face isn't my style and Kai is mine I know one member got in a scandal after dating but fans still love them for it Please OH enlighten me I'm not even bashing. taemeans 1,966 Posted April 30, 2015 Share Posted April 30, 2015 Good songs (totally subjective tho), great live performances, reasonably scandal free (dating doesnt affect the old kshawol noonas luckily now at least lel), the only thing they kinda lack in the individual variety (but the fans still find everything they do dorking and fun), but they are a great group! Lots of casual fans, big fandom, but defs not the biggest. Lots of love on OH for SHINee :] They are kind, respectful and musically talented, GD praised them too! It's simply matter of taste... but the reason why none fans can't really bash them?Well SHINee is known to be a very talented and hard working group that always gives 110% when performing. I became a fan as I listened to more of their music. I think they don't get a lot of hate mostly for being really professional about everything they do. badgalriri 4,086 Posted April 30, 2015 Share Posted April 30, 2015 I don't know how long you're into Kpop, but that dating scandal in 2010 was one of the very first, if not the first idol scandal of new generation idols who actually admitted they were dating and it was worse than Baekhyun and Taeyeon. Fans went nuts, the entire group got hate, Shin Se Kyung had to delete her site (I don't remember if it was a site or a social media account) and Jonghyun had to apologize and cry in front of the fans. Also, Taemin and Minho got hate when they debuted for being "untalented" and people called them a black hole. They're not hated right now because they give their all. They keep on improving their performances, they're respectful, they tend not to get into major scandals and even if they do get into scandals, people forget it because they're recognized for their talent now. I'm not a huge fan of their music either but their lives are just on a whole another level and they are basically one of the most well-rounded kpop groups.
