Did you drift apart from your high school friends after graduating?

Yes, most of them. That's bound to happen when you all go different directions

I keep thinking about a friend i had who was like "I never want to lose you as a friend, you're awesome I love u" and I didnt even tell her happy birthday like 2 weeks ago lol, we just fell out of contact over the past 3 or so years

I had a lot of friends freshman through junior year. But when Senior year hit, I started dropping them like flies. They changed, became fake and everyone was just trying to outdo everyone. Like you'd have people bragging all the time about how they were going to an out of state university and how much money they had. The funny thing is that most of them ended up eating their words and got stuck at the local college

They try to talk to me now but I just make it as painfully awkward and boring as possible so that they don't try to talk to me again.

Fortunately, no. The 4 friends I had through high school are still my closest friends to date. The past few years since high school have been difficult since we we're only been able to hang out as a group of 5 maybe 4 times in the past 5 years, but we talk regularly in a chat on FB and we meet up in broken little groups of 2 or 3 when we can.

Fortunately, we're actually planning to get together a few times this summer now that some schedules have been clearing up.

I'm excited :ahmagah:

sort of....but they're shitty people and i want nothing to do with them so i'm slowly trying to de-attach myself from them even though they keep on inviting me to go out with them. lmao just this saturday one of them was celebrating their birthday and i fibbed that i couldn't go but w/e, all they do is aggravate me when we hang out and per the advice of one of my other friends i should try to distance myself from them bc they've been driving me fucking crazy all these years and i'm too nice to tell them to their faces to piss off

Most of them, yes. We'll still talk occasionally and sometimes hang out, but it's hard when we're all doing different things.

I'm still super close with my friend who was an exchange student from Sweden though and we try to skype with each other at least once a month.

STILL in contact with all of them. We hang out whenever we Can. We all go to different Universities but as soon as the holiday comes up, we meet and hang out every other day. We are a tight knit group.

I am still best friends with girls who i went to nursery and middle school with. They are in different countries but we are still best buddies,

Yes. I only keep in contact with one friend out of like, 10. We just naturally drifted apart for no reason. And when they do get in contact with me, it's only because they're curious about my life and nothing else.
