Some boybands are really popular but some of their members don't get enough love. :._.:

 

Why do you think some members are more famous/liked/respected/stanned than some other nugus in the group..

 

I'll give examples, in Exo, Kai, Sehun, Baekhyun are really popular while there's Lay, Chen and Suho even if they are the main dancer, vocal and leader :imstupid: . In Bigbang, there's GD, T.O.P and Taeyang while Daesung and Seungri are still nugus after all these years.. In SJ, there's the popular ones and then there's Sungmin, Kangin and Yesung.

 

 

There are some more in other groups too.. Give examples and state your reason..

the hunhan ship... and visuals is a legit reason :hurr:....it is a group role for a reason..

people still drag Kangin for what happened a long time ago,


and I have no idea what Yeye did - other than the fact


that people consider him extremely 4d 


but that's a meh or it could be about his selca game

I can't actually believe the HunHan ship was that popular. I seriously doubt it was really legit, but it's lucky that Sehun has so many fans tbh, it helps battle his "uselessness" problem that antis attack him with.

All of BIG BANG are good in variety, it's hard to swallow how 2NE1 can be boring on varieties

 

Uhmmmm no... Taeyang and Top are bad at varieties. Even Seungri is quite cheesy.  They are better at talk show. Daesung is great because he had great chemistry and mentorship with yoo jaesuk. 2ne1 unfortunately hardly had a chance to improve, specially with Yg nonsensical exclusivity ideals.

Chen is not popular bc SM don't promote him as a main vocal. It always around the same members. 

 

Even Xiumin being super popular in Korea by himself, did you see him getting any special attention? Nope. Does he have a main role in the webdrama? No, exo-ls are asking when he'll appear on the webdrama. Did he get extra lines in exo's cb song? Nope.

 

EXO-M members were totally excluded of SM list of who will be promoted next. That's why Lay is opening his own business and Tao, who knows.

 

HunHan must be a really popular ship in China, bc Sehun's popularity is pretty high there.

there are some members that naturally will be popular for some reasons like personality, visual, personal life drama, variety skills... and there are some members that'd not achieve to get popular.

 

That's why it's important that the management company promote them properly and that the group help them to approach to the fans.

Example: In GOT7 fandom, the less popular member is Youngjae, despite being the main vocal, there are just a few comments about him. So JB, GOT7's leader, has started promoting his skinship with the boy and during the events GOT7's members are giving him a space to be in the spotlight.

IDK about kangin but at some point sungmin bcame one of the most famous member of SJ bcos of KyuMin OTP and yesung is the most famous in japan LMAO they love his 4D personality & singing style ^^

Sehun is popular not because of hunhan ship ( I didn't even ship them 2 ) because he is a talented dancer.

and now he is showing promising acting skills.

and sehun isn't just the visual, everyone thinks he's just visual and no talent.

He is a great dancer and him and kai come up with a lot of the dance moves, I am not trying to say it's just those 2 but still.

It's true sehun isn't much of a singer but he isn't as talentless as people think he is.

 

and yes those damn visuals do help because lets face it he is hot af, but he is also

a very kind person that doesn't come out fake like most idols.

Now with the others I am shocked, all I ever see is lay fans  

everywhere nowadays and the other two have a pretty big fan base to.

He's liked 10000% for his looks (and a little bit for his dance), but since EXO Next Door, I think some people has started to like him for his acting (and it's true, he's damn funny in this drama)
