[PANN] Park ChanYeol and Byun Baekhyun's attitudes

ROUGH TRANSLATION

OP: I don’t think Park Chanyeol and Byun Baekhyun are members who have greed for broadcast programs. They are just in charge of variety skills.

They help other members with their introduction, keep a conversation going, make other members and fans laugh. From early debut, they were just types of talkative people without any pressure. But as time goes by, Chanyeol and Baekhyun have to talk more and make others laugh because the rest just aren’t good with words, unfamiliar with jokes, or quiet.

When people say EXO’s boring, fans tell them that Baekhyun and Chanyeol are in charge of variety skills and cause the boys so much pressure. So after that, if people say those boys are in charge of variety skills but no fun, people will blame who for this?

People always have their eyes on EXO. That also causes the boys so much pressure. As the two are quiet, they feel an atmosphere becomes weird, they post on the Internet, other members’ individual fans bash them like “They’re in charge of variety but even don’t know how to speakâ€, kind like that.

To be honest, the two are also human, they’re celebrity, but there are also days when they’re not in good conditions, they have tiring days, or when they have bad moods. But they still have to be funny even when they feel down. The more i know about them, the more I feel bad for them.

  • Overall [+306;-21]
  • [+61;-5] I think so, too. When EXO goes to a radio or on broadcast, compared to other members, I have seen many times Chanyeol and Baekhyun have to laugh and heat up an atmosphere even they’re exhausted. Why don’t fans know about their efforts? When the two don’t talk, they immediately post on the Internet asking if the two have a fight with other members. As a fan, it breaks my heart.
  • [+59;-4] I completely agree with you
  • tumblr_inline_nncc8fy2mm1smae63_500.png
  • [+58;-4] That’s true. It was so fun to see Byun Baekhyun copied Tao in EST. Think about it again, the two have worked hard
  •

    [+45;-1] Chanyeol-ah, Baekhyun-ah, enjoy this moment.

[+41;-2] Now i understand what you say… I didn’t put myself in their positions and bashed them…

[+20;-1] Baekhyun has good sense ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

[+15;-2] I can’t understand why the two get bashed. Baekhyun suits the funny atmosphere with BTOB or BlockB. He suits EXO but when I watched EST, I wonder if he joined BTOB or BlockB. I think they would get his jokes and had fun ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Am I the only one?

[+12;0] I’m not a fan. After finishing watching my group’s EST, I looked for EXO’s. I watched it and from the beginning till the end, funny points are Baekhyun, Baekhyun, Baekhyun and Chanyeol, Baekhyun…

[+11;0] If Baekhyun was in BlockB, BTOB or Infinite, it must be f*cking funny.

[+8;0] When they went to Sukira this time, Baekhyun didn’t talk much. Fans wondered “What happened?â€, “Is he sick?†and asked him to talk more. Baekhyunie must know about it.

And here is Kai's talking about Baekhyun & Chanyeol's talkativeness on Lee KookJu's radio show

All Baekhyun want for ppl around him is smiling, but oF course it sucks cuz I-fans never get that humor and forever making fuss about that

I'm not even fond of EXO at all, and I think Baek and Yell are douchebags, but where is the damn lie?

Baekhyun receives so much comments like he's being ''annoying'' but seriously, I'm glad EXO has him in the group, his type of humor is just like mine  :hurr:

I understand that the other members are quiet, they're practically being judged just for breathing ._.

Chanyeol should be the same cause whatever he is doing its working for him. Dating alone, Jangsoo Shop, Return of Super Man, Exo next door. He is earning money by being an attention whore but hey money is still money.

This is sad.. I just don't understand when people hold idols to such unrealistic standards. They're also human too - just like us all. They make mistakes and have off days, they get sad and upset, they're also sleep deprived, have no energy some days etc etc but they have to act like they're not - they have to act like inhuman almost because they're constantly scrutinized for every.little.thing. They have long hours of practices for singing, dancing, recordings for music shows and constant travelling to different countries for events and other schedules like day long variety shows and then radio shows - it's insane and exhausting.

Just thinking about it stresses me out. They all have enormous pressure to do well, act well, set a good example, etc etc. The constant pressure is insane but even fans don't give them a break and add to that - intentionally or not. Yet instead of being understanding, people are so heavily critical. If they get annoyed by a little thing one of them did, they immediately criticize them, or find pics/gifs/videos and post them everywhere, or even save them for when appropriate. It's so ridiculous.. I just feel really bad for them, esp with all the added stress recently on top of the comeback & concerts. I really worry for their metal and physical health ._.

Point is, instead of pointing fingers and constantly criticizing them, at least appreciate the fact that despite having bad days or being tired, upset or sad they have to do all this extra, emotionally draining job of always being happy/laughing or making jokes to cheer up others/fill in the awkward silence. Cause if they're not gonna do is, no one else might either. The fact that most exo members are so reserved adds even more pressure for them and must be so exhausting, but instead of being understanding people are so quick to call out every single little thing that doesn't sit well with them.

They all hardly say much as it is, and people always laugh at exo for being a boring rehearsed group with no personalities, but if joking around or even laughing too much annoys some people and they get bashed for it, than don't expect more.

Yes! fans need to realize this instead of complaining

also, to the people spreading nonsense about Chanyeol being an 'attention whore' for being on broadcasts..

I sure as hell would not be a fan of Exo if it weren't for him being on variety shows (e.g. Roommate)

which I'm sure many of others were attracted to the group after his appearance.

I didn't know about Exo before him, never mind the fact that I wasn't even interested in Kpop
