Digital Sajaegi case Cube and FNC joins Big 3 + SE + Updated with Cube's CEO Hong Seung Song statement

As four local large entertainment companies, SM, YG, JYP and Star Empire drew their knifes out against ‘Digital Manipulation’, Cube Entertainment as well as FNC agreed to such actions.

Cube Entertainment spoke on the 7th, “‘Digital Manipulation has poisoned the entertainment industry. We will fight against this problem together with SM, YG, JYP and Star Empire†and, “We hope that by doing so, we will be able to restore the order of the entertainment market.â€

Housing popular artists such as BEAST, 4minute, BTOB and more, Cube Entertainment is an entertainment agency that has been rising to prominence.  The participation of Cube Entertainment further gives a deeper meaning to the issue.

Reading at the article today,
3 years ago, I've been mentioning about Digital Sajaegi in the distributors' recommendation system.
I insisted many times that this is a problem that will obviously corrode the entertainment industry.
The recommendation system will cause much inconsistencies in broadcast charting programs through its interrelations.
And because of this, I said that we have to abolish it, illegal manipulators of downloads
will eventually destroy the order of the entertainment industry.
I had been saying this many times to associate members from the industry during seminars and many more.

But at that time, they did not feel anything unusual about it.
The entertainment market is what we producers have to take care of by ourselves, but rather than the overall market, were they thinking about their self-interests, such thoughts came into my mind.
If this problem is overlooked, it could be a boomerang and struck us from behind in the future, and the order of the market will become even more complicated.

Although this issue is being raised today, I feel fortunate that this problem can be eradicated.
Meanwhile, I feel unfortunate that this issue was not solved among ourselves in the first place, which had caused problems in today's reality.
Through this opportunity, we will solve this issue once and for all.
We, as the producers for the entertainment industry, carrying the passion for music and the pride of KPOP, we will work harder, even for today too, to produce good contents.

As usual netizens have no idea what they're talking about. Cube didn't participate in this because they aren't a part of Korean Music Power. Star Empire is. Cube was offered to join few years back but they decided to sign with Universal Music Group, the biggest music corporation in the US.

 

2YOON, G.NA, BTOB, and Roh Jihoon are really getting shafted if Cube is spending money on digital manipulation and excluding them. Nobody has a problem with Huh Gak selling well two years after his debut.

 

tbh,their suspect target is most likely 4minute,which has a song with strong longevity

Beast doesn't even chart high on Melon,it has only started to rise a few spots after promoting

Not a good rank at all if CUBE did manipulation,and the rank now is still struggling to get them a win on music shows if that's CUBE's purpose

 

Dont even get me started on Apink. CUBE would do somethings on BTOB before they care and do anything on Apink

Anything related to Apink is all about ACUBE,only dumb people who is not familiar to Apink think CUBE handles their activities

There's a reason Apink's official page,ACUBE's official page has no CUBE logo or anything related to CUBE

i mean this is one way for CCM to repair their tainted image

I wouldn't be surprised if most if not all of the companies saying they are against this digital sajaegi are guilty of doing it themselves.

 

Especially with FNC I wouldn't be surprised if they did it, they were already caught buying back cnblue's (physical) albums earlier this year so who is to say they didn't do it digitally also.

out of all CUBE/ACUBE groups,Apink gets the least influence from CUBE,i hope people all understand it now

 

 

and like i said,CUBE is not one of the label did digital chart manipulation

 

You can't forget about BTOB too~ They're too focusing on 4Minute and BEAST, yes even though both group still rookie group, but they still need more promotion~
