3. [+703, -50] It doesn't matter if the Ministry is behind him, Rain is trash. All those controversies with his leaves and still caught on On Scene 21. Don't reenlist, just live the rest of your life getting hate.

..They're really stupid. You're just adding fuel to the fire.

At this point, I don't even know if Rain can go out into the public anymore.

Goodbye Rain

But if Rain does come back with a song in the future...oh man..

Once AGAIN I have to say, the higher ups in the military are complete idiots. They basically just admitted they knowingly allowed (hence favouritism) Rain all those perks.

All they needed to do was enforce strict standards on celebrity recruits to begin with, and none of this crap would have happened. As in, they should have done their jobs from the start. It's as much their fault as it is Rain's.

99% of recruits would take the easier job and more vacation days if given the opportunity.

Blame the government, not Rain.

Rain is at fault too for abusing most of his perks but yeah, this is mostly the government's fault. all of this mess wouldn't have happened if they didn't implement the Celebrity Soldier route and didn't accept favors/give anyone special treatment. but this is the reality everywhere. people with power and money always get special treatment.  -_-

They gave him the perks to abuse. It's like getting mad someone ate too much when you made them a feast.

I think if he re-enlists and does his job well they'd have to forgive him, or at least forget...

This is obviously a huge issue to the public.

I don't know what a celebrity soldier does but it must be significantly different if they are this mad about it.

Of course though, there is always the fact that netizens will find anything to be mad about. And something with this much press adds a lot of fuel to the fire.

Why won't they admit that a lot of it is just them being jealous, jealous they aren't making the money, having the fans, and getting the special treatment.

It's not like the idols don't give up a hell of alot to get all of that.

In their day to day lives aren't they already enslaved to the government? Raking in money bringing attention and tourism to South Korea through kpop while giving up nearly all of their agency and free speech?

People hate them simply because they exist, and yet those same people expect them to cater to them and always have a smile on their faces....

I wouldn't be an idol no matter how much you paid me.

Not a male idol with crazy possessive saesang fans who send death threats to girls I've glanced up at...

and not a female idol with everyone examining my with a magnifying glass looking over my body, my skills, my personality making sure it's caters to exactly what they want.

If I really liked singing and dancing...i'll do it my basement.

No way am I being an idol.

At least if i'm a popstar in America I can say "fuck you" to fans and paparazzi and spit on them and get away with it.
