Sorry Couldn't Take it anymore

I'm not a fan of EXO or Tao, but people are really.

Yes Tao is an adult, he can make his own decision, and he was the one that pushed himself up to this point if you think about it, but it doesn't mean that you can shit and spout meaningless things about his father who was only looking about for HIS ONLY SON.

No one get's this part.

in others' eyes, i should be blissful with a harmonious family and a son who's a star, but how'd they understand the pain of tossing and turning in worry for countless nights? this time, i was determined to bring him home to nurse his injury. the night i went to korea, the company leaders discuss tao's future progress with me, saying they would create a specialised team to handle his china activities like they've promised initially. of course, i was so excited and happily discussed many details with them. the company said they would wait for tao to sign the contract and then announce it tgt with other members' news. in the end, when just a step away from signing the contract, i was still in korea when i saw the company announcing news of the plans for other members first.... there was so much i wanted to say but i became speechless.

zitao did not receive support from the company, but received a body of injury. then what does this make of our persistence in the beginning? thru all this turmoil, i decided to bring zitao home to nurse his injury, only to find out that it's passed the optimum rehabilitation period.  these injuries will cause him great disability when they are not treated properly. this is as though trampling the last bit of grass for a camel, which also made me firm up to bring him home. to his parents, there's nothing more important than the health of their children. as compared to flowers, applause, and fame, the utmost priority is his health and safety.

Basically his father is talking about how his son has pushed himself and thinking the rewards he will get after all the injuries he had sustained only for SM not to mention any future activities. (Remember even if one is healing he can still do work just not the strenuous activities. Tao can go do MCs, Variety shows, things that doesn't deal with physical strain.)

Also SM told Tao's father that they would mention Tao's future endeavors/activities but there were none.

How'd you expect to deal with this if knowing your son is doing things that gets himself into troubles and harmful jobs only to be pushed aside. A parent will always be a parent even if the child of the parent is adult, because that parent is always on the lookout for their child.

And what would you do if your in a company that still doesn't give you what you want after all the trouble and hardships that you've done in order to make more money for them?

It should be a give and take when it comes to this but with SM it's not. I mean there's a reason why there's more people leaving in SM than any other big companies out there.

Edit: Don't expect for me to msg you back.

Fuck SM tbh
It's shitty how they have all the groups I love, but then treat them like crap.
And I know the entertainment industry as a whole is shady asf, but SM seems to specialize in making their idols hate life.

People like you say bandwagon the criticism towards SM, yet continue to support the company.

Well yeah, they make music I like. Did you miss the part where I said they have the groups I love? Just because I stan their groups doesn't mean I have to like the company and their practices lol.

The father is giving reasons publicly about something that he easily could have done privately and has no duty to share with anyone. As a fan, Tao's situation it's something that worries me, but do that kind of rude comments towards Tao's father is so disrespectful. Again, the sanity of exo-l fandom is tested.

I never said you liked the company. My point is that the discrepancy lies in that very fans like you who criticize SM, also continue to generate business for the company.

lol what are you tryna say tho, you expect lil teenage girls to give a fuck about how the company behind their oppas operate? They only care about the music and looks and shit. And even as they start to age, they'll have an attachement to the group and will want support the group. SM is shady yes, but what company isn't?

So I'm not allowed to criticize them now?  :imstupid:

There's a lot of shitty companies in this world who people hate and still make tons of money such as Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Wal-Mart... I could go on. It's hard to buy a product or service from a company who has a totally clean history, really.

So yeah it's probably hypocritical of me to buy their cds, but nearly most every entertainment company is shady and has done shitty stuff to their employers. I can only hope that the money I spend goes to supporting the groups in a positive way.

I think most people do understand that it's a father trying to protect his son, but they are choosing to shift the blame on him "forcing decisions" rather than blaming Tao who they love and SME who they support because they provide the entertainment. I wouldn't be surprised if Tao's daddy chose to do this to be a scapegoat for his son who already has a lot of antis.

This whole situation is making me sad.

EXO fans take things way too seriously, like, I don't have a problem with EXO. But the other day I commented on a post "Exo is overrated. My opinion" and I got literally -33 on it. Like CALM THE F*CK DOWN.

Anyways, it's too bad that it's gotten to the point where Tao's FATHER has to tell him to leave because of injuries. I think SM really needs to focus on the safety of their idols.
