Few in AKB can sing decently. As a whole the average isn't high. http://onehallyu.com/index.php?/topic/16329-best-singers-in-akb48-and-48g/ Anyway most J-idols are train 1-3 months in dancing or ones that started out as indies don't really get training and just improve as they go compare to kpop idols that train at least 2-3 yrs so J-idols definitely lack because they don't get the proper training even if they have potentials.. -_- Well they're not singers anyway, more like entertainers that is suppose to put on energetic and fun performances, and idols also have alot of emphasis in varieties.
