By that I mean, they still have the moe school girl style, personality and mannerisms.

But at the same time they can actually sing(kpop level at least) and twerk it out if needed?lol

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that.

Momoiro Clover Z can be considered cute even tho they're mostly have a cool image, still wear cutesy clothes

they are at least decent singers in my opinion, none of their voices stand out but they can sing

and they can sing much better live than a lot of dance groups kpop and jpop.

no but like being serious i know jack shit about jpop or j idols( just like the obvi ones like kyary and akb48)...can most of them not sing??

Few in AKB can sing decently. As a whole the average isn't high.

Anyway most J-idols are train 1-3 months in dancing or ones that started out as indies don't really get training and just improve as they go compare to kpop idols that train at least 2-3 yrs so J-idols definitely lack because they don't get the proper training even if they have potentials.. -_-

Well they're not singers anyway, more like entertainers that is suppose to put on energetic and fun performances, and idols also have alot of emphasis in varieties.
