For anyone who noticed that every army article had "Seung Gi-ya, it's your turn too." and wondered why especially Lee Seung Gi. This is why:

 

 

 

It's true he mentioned he wanted to go early, he never gave a date or a promise, he just expressed his wish to go early.

 

 

Early 2011, he was preparing a Japanese debut, and was also going to stop hosting both Strong Heart and 1 night 2 days. The later was suffering since Kim C left to pursue his musical career, and MC Mong was condemned for his MS thing (another reason they're nervous about him). The show still managed over 30% (I think) ratings and was still the top. When reports on him leaving, it was his worst days and he had to go through netizens wrath. No need to confirm he was the most popular member, and whenever they asked a random ahjumma on the streets, who is her favorite member she would point him.

 

 

To clear that mess, he said that he'd continue 1N2D until he enlists. Later that year, Kang Ho Dong's tax scandal exploded, and Seung Gi was forced to stay on both shows until they ended both shows as season one and casted other people for season 2.

 

 

So, he quit both shows in February 2012, and late 2013, netizens started their witch-hunt over his MS. Basically, they have nothing against him, and this is their chance. They have until he goes so, go on. We don't care! Just let us enjoy his album.

 

 

 

His fans are sure he won't finish this year (because his official fanclub didn't recruit Airen 7 and are still using Airen 6). He was supposed to go after releasing his album last year, to celebrate his 10th year anniversary. His album was pushed back for him to do a movie "Love Forecast". And since he has nothing since his movie's promotions wrapped, he's finishing his second master degree while finishing his 10th anniversary album.

Lee Seunggi is basically flawless so I was thinking those netizens just wanted to find something to attack him. But seems like those netizens are only the minority. Looks like many people still like Lee Seunggi.

BTW what is MS?

Yes, I'm kinda jealous he achieved all that. He finished his first master degree in commerce and international trade at the end of 2011, and passed the main exam, he just didn't graduate because he didn't deposit a thesis.

He said that after doing King 2 Hearts, the director influenced him, and so, he wanted to pursue Media content and is taking a course on it.

I'm sure he will do his service right and well but saying you will do your service early and then just doing the traditional Korean actor shit of doing it at the last minute will annoy people.

Kind of random, but I saw him last year at KCON... he has such a nice vibe. Like really. I'm not even a fan, but I absolutely melted. His smile is to die for.

This is so late, please forgive me. And he does! He looks really good in motion, if that makes sense. He kind of has a face that can only be fully appreciated in person, 3D.
