Dongjun bares his abs and more for 'International bnt'

 

 

ZE:A's Dongjun revealed everything for 'International bnt'!

 

Not only did he bare his abs while while sporting winter gear, he also talked about a variety of things during the interview. On his role in 'Real Men' and future enlistment, he said, "I'm not ruling out the marines. The army songs that I memorized would go to waste. To be honest, the thing I'm thinking about the most right now is when I'm going to enlist." On 'Laws of the Jungle', he said, "I felt like I'd gone camping without any tools. They gave us just water so we wouldn't collapse, and we had to do everything else." However, he confessed that he had such a memorable time that he wanted to be a permanent member on the show.

 

He also said, "I'm a kid who likes joking around. Once, I teased Sunhwa [from SECRET] so much that she started crying." On 'Dream Team', he said, "My grandmother really liked seeing me on that show. Because of that, I stayed on the show for a while." 

 

On Z:EA, he said, "Siwan-hyung, Kwanghee-hyung, and Hyungsik are all working hard. I'm not envious, but proud. We're all going to work hard individually and then come back in one place. When we're together, we're just boys. Like other guys, we talk about girl groups and actresses. We don't have scandals... Once, I filmed a drama with Song Ji Hyo noona, and everyone was really jealous."

ZE:A's Hyungsik is cast in the musical 'The Three Musketeers'

 

 

ZE:A's Hyungsik is what you'd call an all rounder. Hyungsik is very active in the acting industry, not only in dramas but in musicals too. He's been cast in the musical 'The Three Musketeers' again!

 

On January 26, his agency's rep told TVDaily, "From April 1 to June 26, Hyungsik will act in 'The Three Musketeers' which will play at the D-Cube in Seoul."

He was cast in 'The Three Musketeers' back in 2013, and has taken part in musicals before that too.

The rep explained, "Hyungsik will begin filming for the KBS drama 'Hwarang: The Beginning' in the first half of this year. We are adjusting the schedule details for 'The Three Musketeers'."

In related news, the drama 'Hwarang' will air in July or August of this year.

 

Congrats to Hyungsik! 2016 looks like a busy year for him, just like the years before.

Fans take legal action against ZE:A Hyungsik's haters

 

 

ZE:A's Hyungsik has got some dedicated fans who are willing to stick it out with the actor through thick and thin. 

Hyungsik's fans revealed on February 3 that with the money they saved up together, they hired a lawyer and at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea, completed filing a third party charge against the people spreading slanderous, malicious comments about Hyungsik.

 

The fans explained that they couldn't endure watching Hyungsik in pain from all the hate he received for his alleged attitude problem during an interview. 

 

Hyungsik's fans were said to have gathered evidence before filing a suit for defamation since a defamation suit form a third part is not considered valid. They further revealed that they were left with no choice but to take matters into their own hands when they informed the label about the malicious comments but the label showed no signs of taking any sort of preventive measures.

Star Empire steps forward with statement regarding Hyungsik's haters 

 

 

Hyungsik's fans have had enough of the hate spewed towards their favorite idol, and they took matters into their own hands when they took legal action on Wednesday against all the people who have been continuously leaving hateful comments. 

 

Star Empire Entertainment, the agency which houses Hyungsik, has entered the mix and stepped forward with a statement regarding the matter. A rep from the label relayed, "It's true that the fans filed a suit but we have no way of knowing the details. We don't know which comments were used nor who left them."

 

The rep added, "We plan to verify the fans' charges. There has been no action taken on our end. We will only take further action only after we have aggregated additional documents and convened in a meeting. The company is diligently gathering documents because of the hate comments. We plan to proceed with the charges in quarterly periods. We have included all of the artists under our label including Hyungsik. Once we determine the standards and time, we will go forward with pressing charges."

ZE:A's Kwanghee to ask kids for advice on 'Tok! Tok! Boni Hani'

 

 

ZE:A's Kwanghee will be featured on popular children's show 'Tok! Tok! Boni, Hani'. 

 

On February 23, the 'Tok! Tok! Boni, Hani's producer announced that Kwanghee will be joining the show. He elaborated, "We've been going around the nation listening to the concerns of elementary students. We are attempting to make a change. A new part of the show called 'Stars have concerns too' will take place, and Kwanghee will be on it." 

 

The producer said Kwanghee shared his concerns on the show. He said, "Kwanghee talked about how he has trouble waking up early in the morning while MBC variety show 'Infinity Challenge' always start filming in the dawn. Elementary students will provide advice for Kwanghee to provide a solution to this concern."

 

You can expect Kwanghee on the February 29th episode!

ZE:A's Kwanghee to appear on 'Superman is Back' as Sarang's Korean tutor!

 

 

 

ZE:A's Kwanghee will be appearing on this week's 'Superman is Back'!

 

A representative of the KBS2 show stated, "Kwanghee will spend a fun day with Choo Sung Hoon's family on this coming Sunday's episode." 

 

Kwanghee also shared photos of him with the Choo family on his official Instagram, writing, "A fun time with Sarang, who now writes Korean so well and even makes [Kwanghee] uncle laugh. And with Sung Hoon hyung and Shiho noona." 

 

Our days of seeing the adorable Choovely Sarang on 'Superman is Back' are numbered! The Choo family will be leaving the show at the end of March, so enjoy them while you can!

Kwanghee is upset at Yano Shiho over this trifling slight? 

 

 

Kwanghee expressed his disappointment at Yano Shiho on the March 6 airing of 'Superman is Back.' 

 

The idol was visiting Choo Sung Hoon's home, and he got to meet his wife Yano Shiho for the first time. Yano was all smiles as she greeted the idol, telling him that she saw his performance with Big Bang for the 'Infinity Challenge' music festival. 

 

Though Kwanghee was glad that Yano had recognized him, he expressed his discontent over the fact that she wasn't following him on Instgram. Quick to accommodate, the easy going host hurriedly requested to follow Kwanghee and of course, Kwanghee followed her back.

 

One person, namely Choo Sung Hoon, wasn't too happy about this development, grumbling, "What about my Instagram account?"

ZE:A's Kwanghee says he's an idol version of Kim Gu Ra? 

 

 

ZE:A's Kwanghee claimed that he and Kim Gu Ra are more similar than we would think.
 

On 'The Capables', Kwanghee expressed that he is capable of memorizing every media staff member's faces and names. To this, Kim Gu Ra responded, "I heard you are a lot like me." Kim Gu Ra is known for knowing everything about everyone in the entertainment industry, especially information regarding media staff.

 

Kwanghee is confident of his capability as he said, "It's true. I recognize and greet every staff member when I see them." His talent is put to test on the spot as the panels ask Kwanghee to tell them the name of the staff on the show. 

 

However, Kwanghee fails to provide the correct answers and mistakenly calls the staff with the wrong title. It turns out Kwanghee is not quite yet an idol version of Kim Gu Ra!

The idol was spotted rocking a slicked, 8:2 part in his role for the upcoming KBS2 drama 'Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho'. Dongjun will be playing the role of Kim Yoo Shin, a young son who seeks help from a neighborhood lawyer to uncover the innocence of a father in prison.

ZE:A's Kwanghee could be a Miss Korea candidate?

 

 

What do you think of ZE:A Kwanghee's body type? Tall and lean, yes, but fit to be Miss Korea? 

 

The idol recently visited the doctor to get his body age checked on KBS2 variety 'Vitamin', where his weight was revealed to be 59 kgs (approximately 130 lbs).

 

The following examination results showed that Kwanghee, who is currently 27 in Korean age, was 22 years old in body fat age, 34 years old in hormone age, 24 years old in overall body age with his expected life expectancy being 87 years! 

 

The doctor went on to explain that only 10 kgs, or 15%, of Kwanghee's weight consisted of body fat, saying, "Rather than being the body type of a man, it's more the body type for Miss Korea." 

 

Should Kwanghee run for Miss Korea next year?

He was on the March 19th's episode of 'Infinity Challenge' as the rap teacher. Kwanghee commented, "I never knew Zico would do this well. A female celebrity told me she wanted to meet Zico, so I told her, 'Why would you want to meet him?"

 

Zico revealed, "That's right. He told her not to hang out with a low-class celebrity. Like not to hang out with a B-rate celebrity..."

Could B2ST's Doojoon, CNBLUE's Yonghwa, Lee Joon, and ZE:A's Kwanghee be planning to form a new idol group?

 

Maybe not. But it has been reported that the 4 will be transforming into wedding singers with the cast of MBC's 'Infinity Challenge'! 

 

On March 25, 'Infinity Challnege' shared photos on their official Twitter of its members and several guest celebrities with the caption, "'Wedding Singers' will be presenting special gifts to couples preparing to become newlyweds! Here are the following partners for the upcoming, fantastic harmonies." 

 

It looks like Kwanghee has enlisted the help of fellow idols Lee Joon, Doojoon, and Yonghwa as members of his team! So they're like a special idol group, afterall! 

 

Meanwhile, the other 'Infinity Challenge' members have partnered up with celebrities such as actress Kim Hee Ae, HaHa's wife Byul, former Busker Busker member Jang Bum Joon, and more.

Yonghwa calls out Kwanghee for being too competitive on 'Infinity Challenge'

 

 

CNBLUE's Yonghwa called ZE:A's Kwanghee out for being too competitive on the March 26th episode of 'Infinity Challenge'. 

Yonghwa, B2ST's Doojoon, and Lee Joon featured as guests for the 'Wedding Singers' special to help Kwanghee out with his performance. The CNBLUE member stated, "Watching 'Infinity Challenge', I saw how really competitive it was. From all the people I know, Kwanghee is the most competitive ever."

Kwanghee responded, "Do you know how much I try to catch up to you," and Yonghwa quipped, "Do you think you can actually catch up to me?"

Kwanghee then complained, "I saw that you got cast for a Chinese drama. I was jealous. You finished 'Inkigayo', and then I got it. I feel like I always get your leftovers."

A rep from the show revealed that ZE:A members Hyungsik and Kwanghee were also going to appear!  Which family will they be meeting?  The rep said, "The two of them will film for the uncle special on March 29.  They plan to meet Lee Bum Soo's family."

ZE:A J released photos of the ZE:A sub-unit's upcoming Japanese album 'Just Tonight'!

 

On April 2, ZE:A's official SNS shared photos of Kevin, Dongjun, and Heecheol looking as handsome as ever. In one photo, the three members are nicely dressed in suits, while in the second photo they are dressed in a more casual style. 

 

Additional details about the album are going to be announced on Monday, April 4.

On April 20, Star Empire announced, "Members of the sub-unit ZE:A J are each going to release a solo for the first time in Korea. The first runner up is Kevin."

 

The digital single titled "Collection" is composed and written by the idol star. It is an upbeat dance song that portrays the story of a guy, who is trying to win the heart of one special girl.

 

Kevin shared a comment on his solo comeback as he said, "I worked my best to prepare for this first solo song. I believe this can be a small present for the waiting fans. I will work to become Kevin who repays the love with good music."

ZE:A's Dongjun will be gifting fans with his first ever digital single "Healing"!

 

On May 2, Star Empire announced, "For ZE:A J's solo project, Dongjun is the last member to release "Healing" following Kevin and Heechul."

 

"Healing" is a slow jam style song self composed and written by Dongjun. It portrays his long time love for fans, about which Dongjun also commented, "It is such an honor. I am able to release my first solo song because of the fans' great love. I hope the beautiful melody and lyrics can provide healing for many fans."

ZE:A’s Dongjun To Release Solo Track For The First Time Since Debut - Soompi

 

ZE:A’s Dongjun will be releasing his first-ever solo track since his debut!

 

His agency Star Empire stated on May 3, “ZE:A J’s solo project has released Kevin’s and Jung Heechul’s solo tracks so far, and now it will reveal Dongjun’s solo track ‘Healing’ today, at midnight.â€

 

Prior to this, ZE:A’s unit group ZE:A J, with Kevin, Jung Heechul, and Dongjun, has released its Japanese album “Just Tonight†on April 20. This album also includes Korean versions of the songs in the album to thank the fans who were with them for all this time.

 

Dongjun has self-produced and wrote his song “Healing,†which is described as a slow-jam. The song thanks the fans for being with him for so long and expresses his love towards them.

 

Dongjun expressed, “It’s an honor. I think it’s because of the fans’ huge love that I was able to release my first solo track. I hope fans can be comforted hearing this song, which has beautiful melody and lyrics.â€

 

Meanwhile, Dongjun is currently promoting under the unit group ZE:A J and starring in KBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho.â€
