i can handle bromance and that plot seems interesting. i shall definitely check it out.

and i had those exact same questions :ohbi: ahhhhh writers, why did you cave in?

Off topic but I recommend you 'bullying ' is a Japanese drama and is what you are looking for

Regardless of who the end couple is, I still enjoyed the drama  :ohbi:

Tbh, I feel like there are still way too many things left unsaid, or just holes in the plot, all of which could've been solved in maybe one or two extra eps. Like someone above said, is no one going to claim the ashes of whoever is currently in that urn? That's one of the things that's bothered me the most.

About the Yibi thing. I don't understand why people are so against it and why the hate Yian.
I get it Taekwang was super sweet to her, I love them together too, but if it's Yibi at the end, it's also understandable. To me, Yian was over the Eunbyul thing since the fight at the dock and it was confirmed today with the flashback to that scene. He realized then that yes, a lot of things had changed but Eunbyul's feelings for him weren't going to. He had been by her side for 10 years, but that doesn't make it love. He cared for her, but he didn't love her so why hate him for it? The fight happened, he realized this wasn't for him, then came the accident and the person that came back just happened to be Eunbi, someone who was kind to him and shared her feelings with him and cared about his. Why wouldn't, or why can't, someone fall for someone like her?

people are saying that yi-ahn's love is shallow for 10 years, so what do you want ? him to wait 10 years more ? 20 years more ? and then suddenly after waiting for 20 years eunbyul would start to love yi-ahn and then they would live happily ever after ?

At the same time, in another drama, My Love Eundong, you have a character who fell for a girl, lost contact with her, never stopped looking, and finds her 10 yrs later and he's seen as this super cool guy because he never stopped loving her which is cool and all but that doesn't happen to everyone.

I think it's just the way 'love' is seen in SK, or relationships in general.

Once you're known to be with someone and you break up, it's kind of like why would you date that person, they were already serious with someone else, kind of like damaged goods? Umm.. I can't really make a clear example. So I'll just mention HuhGak. The article is below but it kind of just references this.

(TN: by sold, Koreans think that once a lot of people have seen that she's so-and-so's girlfriend, future men won't want to date her since they know who she's been with, etc)

So with this Eunbyul mess it's kind of like wtf are you doing Yian, you're meant to be with Eunbyul who has been by your side this whole time, you just met Eunbi how could you fall for her, kind of like that. Obviously I might be overdoing it but you get the idea. Also, I'm really sleepy so sorry if I don't make sense lol.

so, Yi Ahn Eunbyul ship is sinking, just as I predicted, but still, I dont like this.. The only good thing is, Eunbyul didnt get hurt at all, bcus she has no romantic feeling towards him.

But like I mentioned last week, actually I started to understand Yi Ahn a little bit more. I also think his character became slightly more likable in episode 15, for some reasons. NJH's acting is improving, but still far from satisfactory.

Episode 16 will end with one couple happening, or no couple at all.
Even tho I really dont like this, but Yi Ahn x Eunbi has higher chance. Maybe its like 60% vs 40% to Taekwang x Eunbi.
Maybe, I'd rather see no couple at all, than Yi Ahn x Eunbi. But looking at how the drama sometimes really focused on the romance, the chance is kinda low for this.

Soyoung, is she just plain stupid or what? Why she confidently walked to the twins like that, when the whole class is against her. Obviously the class will be in a shock, knowing that Eunbi replaced Eunbyul for some time back then, but I think it wont change anything.
I want to see her getting what she deserve in the last episode.

Tonight I have to go out for awhile, but hopefully I'll be able to catch the live stream

This was a "meh" episode, the only interesting parts are the teacher's farewell, Taekwang with his dad, with Yi han's family and the end with the twins found out.

I'm waiting episode 16 for So Young's punishment, like I said the fact Eun Bi is alive doesn't change anything, she is a bully and almost kill one person.

Maybe she shows the video and father is getting in trouble, what an asshole father, he knows her daughter is a troublemaker and he prefers she keeps doing things like that than correct her.

From how this drama explained why YiByul didn't work out, I can accept it because it does make sense. I'm glad Eun Byul was not that sad (she did feel a bit sad imo but not really sad), didn't cry or anything especially because of YA thing, because if the writers managed to make Eun Byul like that especially because of YA, ngl I was so ready to chop YA into pieces.

I'm still sad that they don't get together though, especially considering what they said about how they used to interact, like YA used to wait for Eun Byul until she finished reading (because I didn't want to leave, YA said), whenever Eun Byul yelled at YA tears would well up in his eyes (lol), YA kept liking her all along ever since he's 8 years old, and that he kept waiting and hoping for Eun Byul because he knew Eun Byul was also contemplating about it too. They're cute but it's sad because it's not like that anymore and it's all in the past. Based on the things they all said, I also don't think his love for Eun Byul is shallow. Actually it's pretty impressive for him to keep on with his love that long like that especially when it's unrequited. So I can accept if he changed his heart for someone else, it's just I can't shrug off the bugging feeling that it's her twin sis who has the same face whom he changed his heart for. It's somehow like he likes Eun Bi because she's the better, warmer version of Eun Byul. That's the only thing that still bugged me until now.

With that being said, I still don't think Eun Byul only has platonic feelings for him. I'm pretty sure she has an inkling of liking YA as more than friends, but she's so used to YA being by her side thus she's taking him for granted, and that inkling of feelings isn't enough for her to move their relationship going past from being best friends, that's why Eun Byul never gave in either and their relationship stayed that way.

Still, there's one moment that made me angry tbh, which is when YA said "At that time, I thought I was angry at Eun Bi because I dislike her. But it turned out that I was angry because I liked Eun Bi." For some reasons this sentence rubbed me off in the wrong way I can't really pinpoint why. Maybe because at that time Eun Byul was known as dead to him recently but he's angry with Eun Bi because he liked her already? On this point I think it's pretty inconsistent with his long lasting love for Eun Byul previously and his love does sound to be shallow on this point only.

Also, although I have accepted why YiByul didn't work out, I still don't like watching YiBi moments. It's like I wanna pretend I wasn't watching it and wanna skip it, but I'm not the type who skip scenes just because I don't like the scenes so I can't help but watching it, because I'm the type who will watch the whole drama unless it's so horrible, after all. I'm still trying to not really focus on their scenes when there are YiBi moments though lol

And the fact that I accepted YiByul not working out also doesn't erase my (kind of) traumatic experience from it lol It does make me feel better but it doesn't make it go away. Especially if I see Nam Joo Hyuk, I don't think I'll get a good feeling from seeing him for a while lols

Btw, Idk why I find Eun Byul more interesting and endearing when I discovered that her hobby are reading and (seems to be) studying. I mean, I've always known she's intelligent because she gets #1 for her grade, but it's refreshing to know that she likes reading and studying. Maybe because she didn't seem to be the type especially because of her nonchalant attitude (Eun Bi seems to be more like the type). Strangely I love her even more for that haha. Also unni/big sis role suits Eun Byul so much

I love how Eun Byul is still a badass and nice in her own way until now. In the next episode I'm looking forward to Eun Byul kicking SY's ass for real, it'll be a nice sight. I hope Eun Bi stands up and fight in her own way too instead of keep letting others protecting her, but it seems like it's not the case later, which is a pity since I wanna see Eun Bi's development to be someone stronger and more assertive.

I saw this floating around but it was such a far fetched rumor that I didn't share it. Also the person at the end just says "believe it or not"

First spoiler says that Eunbyul will be going abroad (lolwut)

It says that there was a time lapse picture of taekwang wearing the winter uniform, yiahn's hairstyle changed, and Sohyun was wearing a hair pin (meaning her hairstyle also changed) but none of Eunbyul.

[[this is me and not part of the post, I do remember a few pages back that Taegwang was talking to Eunbyul (who had straight hair) I concluded it was Eunbyul because of the way she stood (arms crossed)

CHearBQW8AIKbyY.jpg

Taegwang had a running scene after that or something. Eunbyul is wearing the winter uniform too. I also think its her cuz doesnt make sense that Eunbi stays at Sekang high while Eunbyul goes to study abroad?]]

The second spoiler is..

Taegwang goes to Eunbi at the bus stop.

Taegwang meets Eunbi at the park at night. (That is why they posted up an insta pic of fliming at the park at night, but the person doesn't know if Taegwang is there)

Yiahn and Eunbi meet each other at the bus stop.

The last line is "It's okay because we're still 18 years old."

[note: the teacher said these words to the students before he left the classroom]

If the writers send Eunbyul off to study abroad then they were on something while writing the script lol

I'm calling bs on the abroad thing, but the last line could be true.

The first pic you posted in this post, she really is Eun Byul. I saw some other pics of this scene that is shot from another angle and with different action so you can see her face clearly and her keeping her folding arms pose in different action. So I don't think Eun Byul will study abroad.

I wrote a really long post earlier but my computer crashed and everything I wrote went to waste and I'm too lazy to remember everything I said so I'm just going to summarize it.

Yi Ahn, you probably have no idea how many times I've defended you in this thread, but I can only take so much. And if this is the writers' way of developing you, I'm certainly not buying it. To an extent, I can understand why you felt and acted that way, but something doesn't sit well with me and I can't exactly point it out myself.

Also, I hate the fact that after all that Taekwang has said and done, the writers still decided to have him end up as the loser for EVERYTHING. His father's in jail, his mom is too busy for him, everybody thinks he's a lunatic and the only girl he likes doesn't feel the same way. But I'm glad that he made up with his father. At least that elevated even a little bit of his burdens and also his father's. That's a development.

With Eunbi--Girl, you really need to make a statement to make So Young permanently retreat. I love that Eunbyul is so badass whenever So Young starts her antics, but Eunbi is the victim here and she's the one who has to make the shots. She can't have Eunbyul to be beside her every single time to defend her. She needs to step up her game so she can end things permanently.

Nvm. This is a better otp/bromance. Love triangle where????

Just a random thought. Episode 15 seemed a bit disjointed in regards to the flow of scenes. Or some scenes just had me raising an eyebrow. Like where Yian suddenly started beating up the guy I was taken aback. I know they had to make a scenario that would take yian and his father to the police station but it was awkward imo-it just came out of no where (are they squishing scenes in now?). + this also made me shake my head at the writers because they could have written out more depth to Yian's relationship with his father. 1. It would have given Yian more depth as a character other than being the moping/sweet guy and 2. It would have made that protecting scene in episode 15 more meaningful. But that protecting scene didn't serve to develop Yian-the writers just used it to develop Taekwang. :unimpressed: im all in for Taekwang development but I think what made a lot of us not connect with Yian was the fact that he was legit a flat character. I wanted to like Yian and appreciate him but I couldn't. (Like what happened to yian accepting a cf deal to help his father financially?) Oh wellz meditating puppy it is.

Lol. I was thinking the same. One moment, his father was arguing with some person and then the next, Yi Ahn was beating the guy up. I didn't even realize he was there until he punched him. He came out of nowhere. Lol. And I was really taken aback because it seemed out of character. The way he was punching him, he was sooo awkward, like he was trying really hard to appear angry and it didn't feel touching at all (because he was apparently angry at the man for trying to make a fool out of his father). I remember him choking Taekwang in the bus stop and in my opinion, that scene seemed more convincing than this one.

I'm with you about it. It is weird. But well I don't have any high expectation from the writers anymore considering how they made things go on by now.

Now it just seems weird.

I read the viewers comments in other threads and the hate for YiAhn is real. They even say he's worse than So Young...like.. What?

I thought it was way out of character for him even if it was to protect his dad. I was totally shocked and confused. I think the scriptwriter really messed up this series with the loveline or too much of it. This series could've been so much more.

Didn't someone say Sungjae said in an interview that he received more lines? I think the last few eps were not only filmed on a tight schedule but most likely last minute ideas thrown in.

The reason I didn't appreciate the kiss scene was because it was done so awkwardly. It was like slow motion Eunbi could have avoided it. You could totally see it coming slowly... In other kdramas it was more.. Unexpected which makes ppl go “awwwwwww... Cute!!â€

It's still good to spam HD version. I just thought the highlight thing was interesting.

You can tell how tightly their filming schedule was just by looking at Sohyun’s hair. It was evidently straightened right after she had finished filming with curled hair.
