[KBS2 Drama 2015] Who Are You: School 2015 (후아유: 학교 2015) Official Thread

Since you guys are giving suspicions on Eunbyeol's friend, mine is a different one. Since the first episode, I'm kind of wary of the class president. When there are issues in the classroom, the camera zooms in to him for a second and I always see a weird reaction from him. Like when Eunbi got the highest mark among the class, he stared at her and I got the feeling that he was kind of jealous of her.

SungJae was there when they were filming for the school trip (both EunByul & YiAn wearing the same clothes). Do you guys think TaeGwang was secretly at the school trip as well? or SungJae was just there visiting?

Yeah I find the class president suss as well he's very nonchalant. I just don't get why he gave such a weird look when he saw ShiJin run out of the restroom. The whole issue must surround the study group since the mothers are 'aware' of SooIn

This. I thought this too. Especially considering Eunbyul's character. She cares for her sister and I don't think she would endanger Eunbi just because she was scared.

All of you guys are making great points. It's a nice read.

^

Unless the situation is the opposite, its Eunbi who's in danger, thats why Eunbyul rushed to find her and once she got the chance she switched position with her.

But I wonder this Soo-In girl also text their teacher right? Maybe that teacher involved in their "case" back then.

It's still 4 eps, but the amount of curiousity builds up so high.

Please writers, don't let me down in the end.

I WANT EUNBYUL TO BE ALIVE AND KICKIN SOME ASS IN THE END

I keep getting the vibe Song Joo will be manipulated by the villain using her obvious crush on Han Yi Ahn to misguide her. I also get the feeling So young will development interest in Yi Ahn too. Oh and, would it be interesting if EunByul was actually ALWAYS there, but i have no evidence to solidify this assumption.

Rumor Alert:

Recently, while roaming the world of forums, i read somewhere that Sooin was indeed Eunbyul's friend until Sooin found that Eunbi was actually meant to be adopted, so that roughened their relationship. BUT that's probably just a rumor.

Why would Soo In be upset that Eun Byul was adopted instead of Eun Bi? Between Soo In and Eun Bi there's no relation at all so far. I don't get it.

Also I don't think Song Joo has an obvious crush on Yi Ahn. I've thought about this possibility of Song Joo liking Yi Ahn but I just shrug it off until I see more signs of it later. So far it looks like Song Joo cares for Eun Byul more than Yi Ahn though.

One question, what korean people think about Eun Byul's death? Are they making theories like us or maybe they accepted her death?

I'm relatively new with dramas so i don't know if the writers like to trick the audience or maybe what they say is law.

If I were them I would like to use suspense to attract people but I don't know what in their minds are.

Im relatively new with dramas too. And dramas that I've watched before rarely has mysteries to this extent, so its kinda hard to predict it from the writer's view.

I'd like to think that Eunbyul is still alive, too. Especially because they havent show anything about what happened after Eunbyul saved Eunbi. But the police already confirmed the body as Eunbi. If they mistaken Eunbyul as Eunbi, its understandable. But if they mistaken a dead body of someone else as Eunbi, theres almost no logical explanation as for how the police made that kind of mistake. The body was unrecognizable? How? It was not a wildfire accident.

Unless, the writer show us that the police were stupid, or they didnt follow the procedure at all.

If the writer want to make us keep wondering what happened to Eunbyul, its better if they said Eunbi ran away from the Love House, and her whereabouts are unknown. But Eunbyul's mother will keep searching for Eunbyul, if thats the case. The story will be a little bit different.

I've watched numerous K-dramas including lots of dramas with mystery suspense genre since this kind of genre is my favorite. Based on my experience, suspense mystery writers like to trick viewers by adding unexpected twists. That's why I agree with someone here who said: before we see the bodies ourselves, it's highly possible that the supposedly dead characters aren't really dead. It's like, a Korean drama law especially when it comes to mystery suspense genre like this lol

If Eun Byul does turn out to be alive, there must be some sort of sensible explanation. I'm just gonna wait until more clues are revealed later.

^ This. It's the sole reason I'm still hanging on to the possibility that EunByul is still alive. The guy only said they found a body. The Love House lady didn't say she confirmed the body herself either. So, indeed, unless there is clear evidence connecting the two, the writers may still keep Eunbyul alive

I wonder who Knetz are rooting for in this drama? Is it Yi An or Tae Kwang that will end up with Eun Bi in the end? I hope they root for Tae Kwang. If there's enough responses from Knetz, this could actually make the director or scriptwriter take a 180 turn with the story. You know? Where the second-lead gets the girl? Considering Tae Kwang has more chemistry with Eunbi.

It actually worked with two dramas here in my country. The second-lead had a better chemistry with the girl and because of that, the ratings shot up. The director eventually revised the script.

But who knows? There are still 12 episodes to go. Yi An's character might make a development.

Considering the school series is known to not focus on love lines the male lead may not necessarily have to be the love interest. His role could just be Eunbi's close companion. To lead and help EunBi on her journey in finding out the truth/secrets within the school.

He may be the lead because he has that connection with EunByul and we'll eventually have to see how he takes the news of EunByul's death(please no) or resurrection. He'll probably lead the investigation of Eunbyul.

YiAn has expressed a couple of times how he isn't used to the new "EunByul" so I never even saw the possibility of a BixAn loveline (and dude it's weird you were in love with her twin sister! two totally different people). BixGwang is much more likely, either a clearcut loveline or at least some signs of ambiguous interest will happen by the end of the series.

I'm thinking SooIn may have been accused of something or was used as a scapegoat and the school committee/teachers/director were involved in the coverup.

I remember one of the teachers telling teacher JoonSeok to keep an eye on his class so that they don't cause anymore trouble and to keep them "silent"

Oh by the way guys, do you know how the school system works? Like is middle school and high schooling done in the same school or different schools?

Do you guys know what year they are in right now? Are they in year 11?

Imo it's pretty clear that the romance is going for Eun Bi x Tae Kwang, and it looks like Eun Bi isn't intended to be with Yi Ahn from the beginning. Considering how Eun Bi responses to both guys it doesn't look like Eun Bi is interested in Yi Ahn and is naturally attracted to Tae Kwang. So I think viewers opinions won't really have anything to do with it since it looks like it's set up like that from the get go.

In the drama often says. "elementary school" and "high school" so maybe are different schools, but at the same time it's clear that the teacher is involed in Soo In thing so i don't know.

The drama is placed in 2015, Eun Bi's grave says that she died in 28th April of 2015

Ahh right. That could also make sense. And maybe that's why Eunbi still receives the messages. Maybe this Sooin person knows there are two of them and has something against both of them. Maybe Eunbi too because of something that happened with Eunbyul. I'm not sure. We're all just speculating. Also, I completely forgot the teacher received the message too. Makes you wonder what really happened there.

I definitely think they'll throw in a twist. I'm hoping for it. Do you guys think maybe Sooin had something to do with declaring 'Eunbyul' dead?

Episode tomorrow!!! :ahmagah:

Oh I actually meant what school grade they're in. So I think they're in grade 11? Is that right? YiAn said second year so I'm assuming second year of Korean high school would be yr 11?

south korean schooling system is 6-3-3, 6 years of elementary, 3 years of middle school, 3 years of high school.

most schools are either middle school or high school but some provide both middle and high school courses.
