Considering Eunbyul's scarf is tied around Eunbi's when Eunbi was found, Eunbyul must have tied it around Eunbi in order to make people think Eunbi is Eunbyul. She must have done it on purpose so that people would recognize Eunbi as Eunbyul, so their identity switch is done on purpose by Eunbyul. This leads me thinking instead of being dead Eunbyul is alive somewhere. If Eunbyul was dead because of Eunbyul's deed or mystery around Eunbyul, why would Eunbyul endanger her twin sister by making people think Eun Bi is Eunbyul? Unless Eunbyul is really dead because of some accident.

Oh you're totally right, at first I thought that it was one of Eun Byul's presents to Eun Bi, but no, it's impossible, i've watched the first episode again and the scarf wasn't originally from Eun Byul but her mum, she gives to Eun Byul when they are saying goodbye,

One more thing, Eun Byul seems worried when she was talking tio her mum but at the end she smiles and says nothing, well just one thing: "Please relax while I'm away" maybe it's just a normal goodbye, or maybe not.

I'm not telling that all of this was planned, obviously Eun Byul couldn't predict her sisters attemp of suicide but when she rescued her maybe she thought in giving her a better life while she disappeared temporarily by unknown reasons.

I've been lurking the forums but now I can't anymore lol need to join in on this analysing as well

Here's what's been bugging me so far

#1 Restroom scene:

- I'm almost positive the person who went into the bathroom and came up to eunbyul's stall was ShiJin. I replayed that scene so many times and matched her shoes (the bit of sparkly pink on the top of the shoes and thick platform) to the ones that walked up to the stall. Plus the shadow was of a person with short hair

- They showed ShiJin run back into the restroom to retrieve her pink bag (I replayed the scene and indeed she did forget to take it with her when they left). So it warrants her going back to the restroom.

- Song Joo was waiting for ShiJin not far from the restroom so it means she went back in straight away

- I wonder why MinJoon had such a weird look when he saw ShiJin run out of the restroom..

#2 Eunbyul/death:

- SHE CAN'T BE DEAD! SHE'S MY FAVOURITE! NO!!

Okay.

- The guy on the phone said that they found a body "a couple of days ago", so not on the same day EunBi was taken to the hospital but after. Is it really EunByul's body? did the body emerge from the waters after what? a week? or could that body be unrelated and just be a coincidence that it was found in the same river?

- It was shown that EunByul was missing for 10 days before the mother got a call from the hospital about EunBi. I'm assuming EunBi's suicide and the day she was taken to the hospital and picked up by mother are on the same day or at most a day apart. So what did EunByul do in those 10 days?

- How did the hospital know to call the mother? I'm assuming it's because of the flyers..or a tip off?

- EunBi was admitted in hospital with a lot of bruises on her face. Was it really just from her jump from the bridge? It could be from being dragged from the waters but...

- EunByul knows how to swim so its hard to believe she could drown

- I'd be really pissed if the writers really did just kill her off like that just to make the plot easier

- The flower on EunByul's desk. It was placed there while EunByul was still missing. It was later implied that YoungEun put it there but she didn't have THAT much hatred for EunByul to go that far did she?

whoa? I guess I need to rewatch it again. But shes Eunbyul's friend... and theres nothing weird in Eunbyul's interaction with ShiJin. Different from what Eunbyul said at the restroom

I agree she does seem harmless and there hasn't been any weird interactions between the two but I have noticed that she is sometimes envious of EunByul's and SongJoo's closeness

Does anyone else get a bad vibe from Shijin, aka the short-haired friendly girl? Or is it just me?

I do get some bad vibe from her. I feel like she could be easily manipulated because of her mom and she doesn't seem that close to Eun Byul and the other girl. She kind of seems like a third wheel. But she will probably redeem herself later.

YOU GUYS ARE THE VOICE OF MY THOUGHTS!

I also found it strange, why did Eunbi had Eunbyul's scarf on her and they put the date/time for the scene..

It may be because of something..

There are 2 scenarios in my head now:

1. Eunbyul isn't dead.

She is purposely trying to find Eunbi right? Why, because of that Soo In girl text.

Now we don't have much info about Soo In, so its still mystery.

Considering Eunbyul is trying to contact Eunbi, but for what? I think she tried to protect Eunbi from something.

And she found her while she attempt suicide, ended up saving her, disguised her as herself (Eunbyul) and take her to hospital.

So where is Eunbyul now? Did she really dead? I mean, come on... Unless someone killed her, she couldn't be dead.

Her character is so strong-willed, no way she could have drowned. She must be out on a quest.

Maybe she is in amnesia state too and in living well in another place *I really hope so, otherwise Yi An's gonna be alone*

But yeah, I can't find any reason for the dead body they burried as Eunbi. It's the dead end.

2. Eunbyul is dead.

She's probably cosplayed as Eunbi and found out she was bullied.

So she wanted to revenge to the bully-girl, ended up dead, possibly the bully-girl accidentally killed her.

Thats why the bully-girl is transfer to other school.

OR,

She's chasing this Soo-In girl, presumably settling 'things/mystery' done.

Who is this girl? All we know is she's friend with Eunbyul in elementary school and quite close.

But Eunbyul's mother kinda protect Eunbi from hearing anything about her (when she met Soo-In's mother).

So this must mean something DID happened in past, and that's why Soo-In sent that creepy message that lead to this disaster.

That short-hair friend, I do feel weird she's always observing Eunbyul and kinda jealous to her.

I have this crazy thought that probably that girl is Soo-In after plastic surgery. And she's there to take revenge. HAHA

Eunbyul seriously CAN'T BE DEAD.

I know the poster only show 1 girl, but ITS REALLY UPSETS ME!!

EUNBYUL IS DA GIRL!! *I love it when she said she can't be bought by Young Eun's money* :datass:

Yeah other than wanting seeing Eun Bi - Eun Byul sisterhood, the other reason why I want Eun Byul to be alive is because I actually like her personality. She's rude and comes across as abrasive, but it's caused by her straightforwardness and her inability to sugarcoat things. Despite that she's not nasty though. I like how she's confident, strong-willed, and charismatic, too.

When she told Young Eun those words, it can very be taken as a negative thing, but at the same time it's actually meant to awaken Young Eun that what Young Eun was doing was superficial. It's an alarm to awaken for Young Eun to stop doing such a thing, though it's a very rude one.

Considering that I think I can understand why Eun Byul is popular and her best friend is sticking to her so much, and also the reason why Han Yi Ahn is attracted to her.

This. I thought this too. Especially considering Eunbyul's character. She cares for her sister and I don't think she would endanger Eunbi just because she was scared.

All of you guys are making great points. It's a nice read.

I agree with you, in fact Eun Byul was the only one who treated Young Eun like a person, the rest of the class treated like a wallet, and in the flasback Eun Byul offered her hand to Young Eun, but in the way she began to use her money and Eun Byul didn't want to be with her. Eun Byul may be a little rude but she is good hearted, when she found out about Eun Bi's existence inmediately began to send her presents and I bet that if she had known the bully thing she would have beat the crap of the bullies.

i don't mind if she doesn't appear inmediately but we need to see her again, it would be very unfair that sisters can't know each other

Oh so glad I found this thread, most of my friends don't have much though for EunByul because she wasn't in it enough for them to warm up to her but exactly like what all of you here have said, we've seen enough through the flashbacks AND her friends like YiAn and SongJoo who have continuously backed her up and denied any accusations of her being a bad person. Even the homeroom teacher.

I really love and admire Eunbyul's character because of that. It's not common to have a "lead" character that seems "villainous" while we have seen a lot of Eunbi before.

The only thing that's making me push down this theory is because there weren't any mentions of any of the students having recently transferred to the school. Since SooIn's incident happened last year (according to the mothers) then if SooIn were to have plastic surgery and become ShiJin, then there would have been a little foreshadow saying that ShiJin transferred to the school recently.

The theory would've been an epic plot twist though considering everything else matches (her plastic surgeon father, hidden envy towards Eunbyul, SooIn's mother moving to the same area where ShiJin lives etc)

But isn't Shijin's mother the one who was pushing her to attend study group? Sooin's mother was a different one that Eunbi met.

Yep, ShiJin's mother is that "new" mother in the clique and is pushing for ShiJin to attend the study group but in the first episode when the mothers were saying they saw SooIn's mother (the one EunBi met) moved back to K(?) Tower, ShiJin's mother said she lived there as well

Which means it makes no sense. If they met Sooin's mother a few days earlier and Eunbi met that same person a few days after, how would Shijin's mother become Sooin's mother? Suppose she took plastic surgery. But plastic surgery takes months to heal. It would be impossible to switch faces in a matter of days.

Oh you're right, that completely crossed my mind!

But yeah in the end I don't think the plastic surgery theory is true

I'm thinking SoYoung is gonna get jealous of YiAn's affection (actually, both of the boy's attention) for EunBi and despise her even more
