Have you ever been wrongly-graded?

It happened to me yesterday. I got a C+, when I honestly deserved a B. And a dude who clearly didn't do as well as I did gets the same grade! Like WTF, I'm still pretty pissed. But I can't allow myself to retake the exam, since I have other exams to pass.

I also kinda regret not asking for a higher grade, but well it's over now.

What are your experiences related to this?

I took art during the summer and since the begining I've been getting 100s/90s but when I started to show annoyance at the professor for his forcing of styles on others, right the next day I got a 69 on a coloring project when there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I asked around the class and I was the only one with the low mark when (I'm sorry) my work was much better than alot. He continued to give me 60s/50s for three more of my projects when I couldn't take it anymore and stayed after to confront that hoe. His reasoning was bs, but at least he stopped being his biased ass and my grades went back to normal.

You confronted him? Way to go! Maybe I should have done it too, but well I won't gain anything from regretting.

English has always been the subject I'm most confident in, while while I felt the opposite for sciences. But in my final year public exams, in which the paper is kept secret, I excelled in science and flunk in English instead. Meanwhile all my peers did well for English. That's probably the the worst feeling of discontent I ever had in regards to exam grade. But other times, not so much.

My brother had an English teacher who was a complete hypocrite and barely let his creative writing get a pass just because she was too thick to understand it even though i understood it perfectly well...

Sure, my art teacher. I gave him the middle finger on the last day of high school, when I got my 95/100 even though he gave me 3/10 before. Even the other teachers hated him. That bitch.

Yes- my english teacher was biased in high school. I wanted to have A in english in the last year of high school. And I still think I deserved that. She gave me B but my classmate (he was very good, but I was just better) got A. I was really pissed off.

But I got better scores on my A-leveles anyway so screw you bitch.  :hoplz:

Basic level:  me:95% him:92%

Advanced level: me:89 % him:74%

Viva: me:100% him:96 %

in 9th grade i got a VG (~C-B) in music when i had MVG (~B+-A) on all the tests and was one of the best in the class, and my friend who i always helped a lot during lessons and who got G-VG on the tests got the same grade as me...

in 8th grade my science teacher told me i couldn't get a MVG because "we haven't done anything on that level since the rest of the class wouldn't be able to understand it". i eventually got MVG the next year, but it still pisses me off, like what the actual fuck? am i supposed to get a lower grade because i have stupid class mates?  :>_>:

When I was in middle school, a teacher gave me a 91 instead of a 97 or something like that. But he wouldn't change it unless I brought a parent in. So I did. We went in there and he said "Ok. I see where I graded it incorrectly. So do you want the 91 or the 97?" I looked over at my mom cuz I was thinking "is he serious right now"? And he said "No! Don't look at her! You decide which one you want." Of course I said the higher one. It was one of the stupidest questions I've ever been asked in my life.

I also got a B+ on a class instead of an A- in college due to a teacher's mistake and I fought that. It doesn't sound like a huge difference, but that is actually a huge difference in GPA points at my college. I contested it and got it changed.

There was only one time I got a grade I felt I didn't deserve and didn't fight it, and that was because the teacher clearly had favorites in our class and graded based on that. It didn't feel it was worth fighting with someone like that.
