I Prefer the other girl who had those sensing powers(the one that died) I recommend you "Another".. it's a really awesome anime + it's really creepy.. it's like school + mystery + thriller + horror + detective + drama... it has a lot of dense relationships,but it's really awesome! She followed Shinichi with such blind admiration. She was worse than Murano (the female lead) for me. agreed with the blind admiration part, i feel like her ability would've made them a good team/hoped that it'd lead them into a relationship. No females got any significant characterization or development outside of Tamura ReikoI wouldn't say they were treated bad,but they surely weren't main characters and didn't get significant development.It seemed like they were only there to help with de/humanizing Shinichi during significant character developments. Using him mom as a parasyte victim/host made the situation hit closer to home,and also served as the catalyst for his superhuman transformation. Murano as a sort of reminder he's human at times,and also as someone he'll strive to protect. The 6th sense chick was a love rival of the lead,but was also someone who could sense parasytes,becoming another blow to him since he couldn't protect her too. And so forth. And like what some of you have said already, the female characters was seriously under valued and annoying with the exception of Reiko. She actually has a purpose in the story. The other two just blindly follows!! I already saw Another so yes, I'd recommend it too. You can also try Assassination Classroom!! I got into the anime after hearing about the movie version of it!! It's not that creepy though. Also Mirai Nikkie (Future Diary) Basically students killing each other similar to Another but with a twist of Battle Royale!!
