GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE / Evergreen

This feels like a throwaway music video and song. Evergreen sounds like a reject from GENERATION EX and I can see parts of R.Y.U.S.E.I. and SURVIVORS in the video. The only thing nice about it is the dance, but when you compare it to even their most recent video (SING IT LOUD), it's forgettable.

It's getting really frustrating because it feels like this group's talents are being wasted. Parts of GENERATION EX were fantastic, but they don't even acknowledge those songs exist and instead opt for safe copies of weaker songs. Even the b-side just sounds like a rockier version of "To the Stage" from their first album.

Just....why? :._.:

Performers, dancers, artists. Everybody once in a while forgets that artist =/= writing songs. Chefs are artist, painters are artist, singers are artist, dancers are artist. Expressing youreself and creating material in an artistic way is what would lable you as an artist.

I'm so frustrated with the music direction Generations is taking. Their PVs are still great but their songs have become so underwhelming. It's really disappointing because their company can afford to buy better tracks, they've done so in the past.

I ought to disagree.

I think I'm the only here who likes this song (esp. the PV) more than anything. I don't think it's forgettable at all. I don't even know how many times I play this everyday.

Maybe I'm just too different. But one thing is for sure. This song always makes my day. I can't help but smile whenever I hear this.
