I've been a long time fan of his, glad to see him doing well but I don't get what Korea sees in that song, its such a generic track, he can do much better

I'm very happy for him since I was a fan when he was at JYP. 

 

why was it so hard for jyp to promote him i will never understand

 

1. He was a rapper when most JYP groups are pop, so that may have been a factor, like knowing how to promote two different sounds. 

2. It's JYP, not much more to be said.
