TVXQ Shows Fans their Powerful Performances for Catch Me Live World Tour in Kuala Lumpur

 

TVXQ SHOWS FANS THEIR POWERFUL PERFORMANCES FOR CATCH ME LIVE WORLD TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR

 

 

'Waiting for Rising Sunnnnn!' These are the sacred phrase that all Malaysian Cassiopeia yearned to hear it LIVE for the past 6 years. 'Today...Malaysia's history starts here'! Soon after U-Know Yunhofinished saying these words, loud screams were heard from the red ocean of audience in the Stadium Malawati last Saturday evening, as the Kpop royalty, TVXQ make a stellar comeback for Catch Me LIVE in Kuala Lumpur to heal the yearning hearts of their Malaysian fans.

 

As the duo flying off from the stage passing through the red ocean of audience with lasers beamed off their hands, they kicking off the concert with 'Rising Sun', triggering memory among the fans as it was the 'sacred' song which rose them to stardom. Quoting the lyrics of their next performance 'Can you believe it', the duo bring out their inner 'rock' image as they sang to Getaway before proceeding with another high energetic dance song, Hey! Don't Bring Me Down and O Jung Ban Hap.

 

After an electrifying introduction performance, the audience was brought to a magical fantasy garden when gigantic floral emerged at the centre stage while animal mascots hopping around the duo as they sang 'Like A Soap'. The surprises not end there, as two 'airplanes' flying inside the stadium and both 'Captain Yunho and Changmin' ready to pilot the plane and took the audience for a journey with them. It seems like Captain Yunho almost encountered 'turbulence' when his plane failed to land, andwithout his parachute, he 'jumped off' from his plane as the fans witnessing his brave action in horror. As he safely landed on the centre stage, he continued singing to the song which gained loud cheers from the fans. Wow!!!

 

 

As the concert going on as planned, suddenly, the stage was invaded by the ancient warriors full with weapons. Don't panic! Two heroes of the earth, Yunho and Changmin came to save the day...just ensure you did not call the 'Wrong Number' and they'll come to your rescue. What a splendid sword-fighting performance by the duo as they proved yet another surprises for their 'Wrong Number' song.

To lower the 'temperature' inside the stadium, the duo serenading the fans with their oldies ballads set 'Memories, I Never Let Go, Always There and You Always'. To most of the fans who grew up with TVXQ, it brought back memories as the duo harmonized beautifully. As the duo continued to sing 'Unforgettable' fans holding up banners to show their unconditional love towards both of them regardless how many years they have to wait. The duo did mentioned they were worried that fans might forget them since it has been a long time since their last visit and seeing from the crowds response, TVXQ proven to be 'unforgettable' .

 

 

Being away from fans for 6 years, Changmin seems can't hide his feelings that he missed them and apologized for the wait, hence dedicating 'Confessions' during his solo, showering the fans with beautiful melodies from the songs to show his appreciation and love towards the fans who were longing to see them. Meanwhile, on the other side, Yunho chose to be sexy and dandy performingHoney Funny Bunny inviting screams from the audience when he did his sexy 'hip thrust' dance move.

 

The fans also prepared special project for the duo especially when they lightened up purple light-sticks to form a formation of 'Purple Ocean' when they sang 'Purple Line' song. A special VCR from fans, giving messages of encouragement to TVXQ were also played to show their continuous support to both of them. When addressing the fans, both TVXQ and the fans chanted their trademark 'WE ARE T' to symbolize the togetherness between both the idols and fans as ONE entity. In addition, they also performed their other hits such as Catch Me, Why, Humanoids and Mirotic together with their Japanese songs 'Hi Ya Ya, Summer Dream and Sky, for the encore segment before wrapping up withI'll Be There.

 

Their performance lasted for over 3 hours with almost 27 songs were performed for their comeback in Malaysia after 6 years. As a whole, with more than RM1.5 millions has been invested for this concert, this might be the concert of the year in the Malaysian scene. TVXQ themselves promised that this concert will be an up-close-and-personal experienced for the fans and indeed they lived it to that promise. With a stage that was built closer to fans' seating, a 360 degrees rotating crane, amazing and gigantic props decorating the stage...the return of the Kings after 6 years of waiting seems legitimate. Yunho was also made a promise that they won't let the Malaysian fans waiting that long again and will definitely visit Malaysia soon.

 

 

Congratulations to JPM Music as the main organizer for Catch Me LIVE in Kuala Lumpur for their splendid debut of organizing K-pop concert; bringing the King of K-pop, TVXQ to 'wow' the Malaysian fans in their spectacular comeback performance after 6 years.

TVXQ Make A Japanese Comeback With A ‘Refreshing But Powerful’ Dance Track

 

The music video of Hallyu group TVXQ’s new Japanese song ‘OCEAN’ has been revealed.

TVXQ’s Japanese agency ‘AVEX’ posted the music video of ‘OCEAN’, the title song of TVXQ’s 37th Japanese single album, on their official YouTube channel on the 20th.

The music video was shot at Shizuoka Beach and showed TVXQ enjoying the Summer season at the beach and by a pool. The powerful but cute choreography, as well as the scenes that showed everyone having a great time at an outdoor party, plan to capture the hearts of the masses with a more natural look for TVXQ.

Regarding the title song, U-Know Yunho explained, “It’s a song that everyone can enjoy together because Summer is the season of festivals,†while Max Changmin said, “It’s a good party song that everyone can follow the rhythm of easily. I want to enjoy Summer this year with everyone through this song.â€

With the single set to release on the 12th of June, ‘OCEAN’ is already the center of attention for many local TV shows. The song has been chosen as the theme song for four television shows that include Nihon Television’s ‘PON!’, and ‘Music Dragon’. ‘Wedding Dress’, the other song in the single album, will be used as the theme song of BeeTV’s drama ‘The Greatest Proposal’.

Meanwhile, TVXQ held their ‘TVXQ! Live World Tour ‘Catch Me!’ in Kuala Lumpur’ concert at the Malawati Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 18th. Having successfully completed their concert in Malaysia, TVXQ will continue on with their Five Dome Tour ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2013 ~TIME~’ in Japan, which is set to attract over 850,000 fans.

18 May 2013 – TVXQ Catch Me Live Tour finally graced the Malaysian shores on 18 May 2013. A press conference was held just a few hours prior the concert show time. The legends, Yunho and Changmin arrived at the crowded ballroom and greeted both the media and fans in Korean and Malay.

Q: How do you feel returning to Malaysia after a 6-year gap?

Yunho (YH): It has indeed been a long time. But as usual, the Malaysian fans have welcomed us with their warmth and passion. We are very thankful for that and at the same time we are very sorry for having the fans wait for us so long.

Host: We missed you guys.

YH: We miss you too! (laughs) This sounds funny!

Q: This time around, what would you like to do in Malaysia?

Changmin (CM): We arrived last night and will be going back right after the show so we don’t really have any time to go look around. And for that we feel very sad. I hope we’ll be able to look around and gather more good memories next time.

YH: Usually during the tour/during concerts, we stayed at the hotel. But this time we’re living in a resort and it is a very good place. I hope that during the next visit I get to come to this resort again.

Q: So do you like the sun? Do you like the hot weather in Malaysia?

YH: It’s very hot. (in English)

Host: Do you like hot weather?

YH: Yea, I like it. I like sun. (in English)

Host: So maybe you can consider going to the swimming pool?

YH: I would have tried it if I had the time.

Q: What can fans expect from the concert tonight?

YH: The concert venue in Malaysia is smaller so the stage distance with the fans is very near. Therefore, I hope I can have more eye contact with the fans. That would be the most fun during the show and basically the show will be same as the other concerts of the tour.

CM: It’s been 6 years since our last visit to Malaysia and it has been a long time. I know that the fans have been waiting for us and we have been looking forward to meeting the fans too. So just being able to perform for the fans and be together with them makes us very happy.

Q: Because this is a world tour, everywhere you go you encounter different cultures and different people. So this time around in Malaysia do you have anything special installed for the fans?

YH: Basically, the concert will be the same as usual. What makes this concert special is that we get to share it with Malaysian fans and this makes me very happy. I will also perform some personal talents to show the fans.

Host: So maybe for tonight’s opening you guys will start with Malay greetings?

YH: Uh, I thought we will start with English. But surely we will send our most sincere greetings to the Malaysian fans like we did in other countries. And I think my Malay pronunciation sounds good so it’ll be okay.

YH: (adds) but I will probably say Kuala Lumpur rather than Malaysia.

Host: So can you say ‘apa khabar’ (hello)  for us?

YH: I think this phrase would be better used in the concert later.

Host: Maybe you want to learn other words, such as ‘I Love You’ in Malay?

YH: We would love to. Its ‘Saya…’ (I)

Host: Aku cinta padamu (I love you).

YH: Aku cinta padamu (I love you).

CM: (/claps)

Q: What do you have to say to all the Malaysian fans?

CM: Sorry to let you guys wait for us for 6 years. We will be performing many new songs tonight that you will be hearing for the first time. So I hope that tonight’s show will go on very smoothly and we can all have lots of fun together.

Host: Are you guys okay with talking for 10 minutes more?

YH: Yes.

Q: What do you do during your leisure time?

YH: Actually we’ve been very busy touring lately to respond to our fans love. So I don’t have a lot of time to spare. But if I do have time, I love to go bowling. And since the summer is coming, I would like to try marine sports as well, especially scuba diving.

Q: Changmin, how do you feel since you have started doing variety shows?

CM: Well it has been 10 years since I’ve taken on the role as a variety show host and I have met a lot of nice staffs and funny hyungs so I would like to give all my blessings to them.

YH: (points at Changmin) He is very funny.

CM: Thank you.

Q: Yunho, your airport fashion always attracts a lot of attention and you are always in trend. What would you prefer to wear on a normal day?

YH: Actually I don’t think that I am leading the airport fashion. I just discussed briefly with the staffs and wore it. But thanks for all the compliments that everyone’s been giving me. I’m most interested in sandals. So if there is a chance, I would love to show everyone the sandals.

Host: So do you collect sandals?

YH: Actually, I’m not collecting sandals. I usually wear sports shoes so I just find wearing sandals convenient.

Host: Thank you and we wish you a good show for tonight.

And that marks the end of the press conference. We sure do wish the legendary TVXQ a successful concert with Cassiopeias and we look forward to their next return to Malaysia to meet with the fans again.

So, I was still a newbie posting at hallyu, but had spent LOTS and LOTS of time lurking there!. I was SO thankful that I had managed to read thru both the ChangMin thread, and the HoMin thread before the site crashed. (Boy, I sure hope I saved everything awesome that I wanted!)

I am a long-time HoMin shipper, but ChangMin is my Adorkable snarky NamDongsaeng. He makes me laugh at least once every day. Gotta love a guy who can do that! My old username was ajumah625 but I used it for many other things and since we were kinda starting over here......

About those emoticons... I understand how they work but do not have a smiley to click!!! I even opened "more reply options" and it says emoticons are enabled...so where is my smiley?

I am so happy the changmin thread still lives. He is just the cutest thing ever. A child and a man all at the same time.

The Mission Card head-bump is the most ridiculously funny thing I have ever seen. And to think Changmin is a genius.... He might have seen that bump coming, right?

I am not posting from a phone...I post from an IPad, and sometimes my desktop, but still I do not have a smiley to post emoticons.

Not sure why. I will try posting from my desktop and see if that makes any diff.

I Will update my findings about this seriously important topic of my not having emoticon usage!!
