i think more than half my kpop fun comes from finding shippable biases from what i've seen, halla seems to have a more reserved personality (at least on camera) but i hope she makes lots of friends ~ (yein is a '98er too so ffff, my two biases together would be gr8)

Yeah she's definitely not showing a super outgoing personality, not yet anyways but then again it's still so early in the game. (I always forget they only debuted like a couple weeks ago..) I feel she's got more of this cute and amicable aura that's so likeable going for her right now   (I hope they have some kind of show similar to invincible youth someday with some of the newer girl groups cause that legit made me fall for personalities and friendships of so many members I never would've thought would've clicked   )

 

i think she just seems like a really peaceful person, haha. ties in with what one of the other members said about her, about how she doesn't hold grudges~

I'm sure they're aware of how many of their fans want them to interact with bts though   a lot of tweets mentioned it last night and they replied to a couple of them!

 

oooh he's still in school? I thought he graduated last year? im probably wrong but idk either way the fact that they're(not just halla & kookie, the two groups generally) so close in age makes it a lot easier for them to be comfortable interacting LOL

 

 

I love how halla's so shy to introduce herself as the visual   Do visuals in the groups usually introduce themselves as the visual (?) I can't recall the last time it happened. either way im so glad halla's such a good dancer, I would cry if people started shooting the "useless visual" title at her

yeahhh, there were so many ARMYs tweeting last night, wow. jane pointed out a few users that had her picture as their DP, so they must've noticed all the random BTS faces staring at them lmao. i saw like 5 tweets telling halla she'd be cute with jungkook ... i just hope the overzealous fans don't make it awkward in case they are / will be friends :((( i just want friendshipsss.

 

i thought he was? didn't he enter SOPA last year, so he'd be a 2nd year now? unless my math is hella off. he's about half a year older than halla tho, so i think they'd both be 2nd years. (but korean ages + school years are confusing af so...)

 

 

i feel like most introductions now don't even include positions? it's mostly "Hi, I'm (Group)'s (Nickname thing like VITAMIN) (Name)". i don't really follow interviews of groups other than the ones i stan though, so i'm not sure.

 

her singing voice is actually really pretty, just a bit on the weak side. her harmonization is really nice, but i can see how it'd be easy for her voice to get lost in group songs. i think she needs to become louder overall, both singing + speaking haha.

friendships are all i want from these two groups! the more romantically shipped people are, the less they interact which is sad (save for the ship that is jackji LOL) I remember reading about a girl group (cant remember the name rn) that confessed that they were sad they didn't have anyone to interact with/makes friend with at ISAC.

 

BTS seems to be getting better with random interactions with other groups and I have a feeling 3/5 of our girls won't have a problem making friends but it's still nice to have more friends, specially a group with a similar vibe. that "organic" vibe we're getting from the girls now is exactly what I've felt with bts. I hope neither of them lose it

 

oooh my bad, yeah their school system is really confusing to me coming from north america   I'm from canada and sometimes I get confused with how the schools in the states work lol

 

 

Yeah that's what I thought! I guess they'd feel awkward saying it if they're like a bit of everything (ie, sub-vocal, sub-rapper, etc), especially in bigger groups.

 

definitely agree! her parts in their covers primarily have her harmonizing with everyone and it sounds nice as her tone seems to be the lowest out of all of them. I think the same way we keep saying yujin is improving in her performance confidence, halla is improving her confidence in her singing. She'll get there

 

 

 

i think shipping is fine as long as it's kept on the down-low and not all "HEY LEMME SPAM THEIR IGs TO ASK FOR SELCAS TOGETHER~~" OTL & aw that's so sad D: hopefully that won't be a problem for our girls, since they have yuna & jane who can practically rope in anybody with their antics haha.

 

bts is just bursting with energy idk how they do it when they practically work 24/7. they started from the bottom & now they're here, so i'm hoping it goes the same for The Ark it'll be pretty rough with all the competition debuting though :(

HAHA I feel you! it's weird cause she's around the age of my younger brother! forever anticipating acting-dol halla   If keyeast ever decides to revive dream high (doubtful though since the last season wasnt as big of a success but who knows) I'm sure halla will be cast as one of the mains. I think she could pull off something like the cold hearted girl who really has a heart of gold underneath but has issues. I've seen some pictures of her when she's not smiling and I she pulls off the "bitch face" really well 

 

her eyes do seem really intense when she's not smiling or when she's concentrated LOL but once she does smile her eyes seem so warm! especially during live performances when she's flashing us those hearts 

 

 

oh snaps, so that means you stay up until like 4AM to stream too LMAO. pacific time zone = best time zone

 

 

she does look super ... frigid (?) when she doesn't smile LOL. but then it's a total 180 once she does. she kinda reminds me of a squishier version of krystal

These Halla selcas are bittersweet. 5 months(?) is a long wait for another comeback from a rookie group. 

 

The Ark needs to make a comeback soon - preferably, now.

An update, after so long ~ ~

 

 

I've been in a cave for the past few months, so I'm not really sure what 'reason' you're referring to. Why have they been inactive? Is it b/c of Yujin? From what I know, she's sick atm - right? I haven't kept up much.  

 

 

it's super nice to see them on stage again !! halla's always so smile-y when they perform, minus when they do their manly performances

 

 

and yeah, music K just notified fans recently that yujin's been recovering from vocal cord nodules. she said that it's nothing major & she's been resting though!
