I may have low self esteem and not appreciate myself but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate others around me and it doesn't mean that I can't love those closest to me. And that naked man could have just been a selfless and thoughtful man. And yes, we all should love ourselves but that is easier said than done. I think saying people who don't love themselves are not capable to love others is a cruel thing to say, because it paints people with self-esteem problems as people with no positive feelings whatsoever.
