Research about deforestation?

It's the clearing of trees/forests for agriculture or human settlements/urban development. You could talk about how deforestation has increased soil erosion, its environmental effect etc.

I thought Impromptu speeches are supposed to be unprepared or something?     

 

Anyways, you should start by introducing points like:

• Have you ever wondered what causes Global warming throughout the globe? One of the causes is Deforestation.

Next, you will introduce to the audience what deforestation is.

• Deforestation is the illegal cutting of trees in rain forests without replanting what was lost in the area. Bla bla

Then, you will explain to them the adverse effects of such act to the rainforests around the earth.

• you should start with less serious ones like "less trees to provide food" "less trees to provide lumber"
• next, you go with "when there are less trees, there will be lesser consumers of pollution thus etc..."
• lastly you go with the most serious effect such as the global warming which you will connect to your intro

Another then, you will give some examples on how to prevent those effects by preventing the cause: deforestation

 

Lastly, you wrap it all up by restating, emphasizing and concluding your points.
