On October 15, a representative of Eugene’s agency GG Entertainment said to Star News, “It is true that Eugene recently became pregnant.†According to the source, Eugene is currently in the thirteenth* week of her pregnancy. (*Note: Various Korean news agencies have reported different periods of time, some saying that she is in her seventh, some in her twelfth week of pregnancy.) The couple married in July of 2011, after having first met during the MBC drama “Creating Destiny,†in which they both starred. The two started dating immediately after the drama ended, in January of 2010. Currently, Eugene is looking into her next work, after wrapping up with herJTBC drama “Can We Love?†and Ki Tae Young is currently appearing in the MBC daily drama “Make a Wish.†Im sooo happy for eugene now we just have to wait for bada to get married, lol Such a beautiful news. The time table, which is appropriately in their fan club’s official color pearl purple, reveals that the group’s first release will be “Love [story]†through SM Entertainment’s digital music channel SM STATION. Fans can also look forward to S.E.S’s own reality show “Remember – I’m Your S.E.S†starting December 5. A C9 Entertainment representative stated, “The upcoming special album was created to commemorate the group’s 20th anniversary, so the members of S.E.S are more focused on preparing for their concerts more than broadcasted activities. However, S.E.S has decided to appear on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’ because it combines musical performances with a talk show aspect.†S.E.S’s appearance will be taped on December 13 and the episode will air on December 17. The group kicked off their 20th anniversary project with the release of “Love Story,†which is a remake of their old song “Love.†S.E.S has also filmed a reality show called “Remember, I’m Your S.E.S,†which will follow the members as they prepare to stand on stage as a group for the first time in 14 years. It looks like S.E.S will end the year with a bang and start 2017 on a high note. Their concerts will be held on the last two days of December and their special album will be released on January 2. The members look very young and I like the music video. The musical style is great and reminds me some of "Just A Feeling" and it's era. It's interesting to note that none of the current 3rd generation Korean pop girl groups (Twice, Lovelyz, Cosmic Girls, etc) seem like they would release a title track like this, and would rarely have a b-track like this. It's good to be familiar with 2nd generation (T-ara, etc) and 1st generation (S.E.S., etc) Korean pop girl groups, since there are so many different styles available. Another example is that what new group would release a song/video like T-ara's Sugar Free? Maybe nobody, that's T-ara's job, unless 4Minute was still active maybe. S.E.S. is "in charge" and the leader of this style of Korean pop girl group music you think? What are your thoughts on their comeback tracks/videos/album/etc? EDIT: People may be more familiar with the S.E.S. title tracks and recent tracks, but let me show you two great b-tracks from their earlier years. Little Bird is a Korean remake of their Japanese song. I probably like Season In Love more than any song from 2016/2017 probably. What do you think of them?
