Insane 728 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I know that at the end of the day the decision is mine but I need advice. I don't know what to do with my life. I stopped studying, I can't find a job, I feel sad and anxious. I sent an aplication for a job last week and they said they would call after easter. This job is not far from home, they pick you at home and is full time. They haven't called yet. The other day I told my neighboor if she knew of any job but I was more joking, because I'm expecting them to call me. Now she talked to her daugher, her daugher talked to her boss and they want me to go there. This job is part time, is at least 30 min away and I need to take the train. I don't know what I should do. I need a job and get out of home and I need the money, but none of these jobs are what I want for my life. Until then, you can choose to just accept the daughter's offer or hunt for other jobs. You're anxious but you have to be patient with these things. sillysone 6,340 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Can't you ask the neighbor's daughter to tell her boss to wait a bit more for you? Until you get the reply for the job you applied for. If you don't end up getting the reply, just go for the other job. While neither of the jobs may be what you intended to do in life, you should really give the chance to whichever job out of the two you get. You might end up liking it. Or once you get the job you can start saving so you can have the means to either continue school, myb move somewhere or smth like that. It's never too late for anything, so don't give up. I think I'm more anxious about telling her that I'm waiting for the other job than not getting that job. I feel like I'm being a little rude (not really rude, I'm feeling bad) You can always quit can't you? I can but I'd rather not. Someone might not get the job just for me to quit and get another one.
