Nearly two years after FEEL, Namie announces her next original studio album "_genic"! The album will be her first one independent from her management company Vision Factory, who she separated from in mid-January after 22 years. The album will have a total of 13 new songs and 5 new music videos, with the album style being a complete departure from FEEL. It will incorporate R&B groove and 80s&90s for a classic and colorful dance pop sound. The album will have 3 versions and the release date is June 10th!

I'm pissing, 5 new MV's and a 80/90s vibe 

 

There are no numbers next to the track titles, so it's probably just a preliminary lists of songs to be included on it. The full track list will probably be revealed later.

So all songs from "TSUKI" and "BRIGHTER DAY" have been scrapped...I know, 13 news songs should be cool, but honestly I'm kind of disappointed, I don't buy singles so I get the songs on the album, and now none of the songs get to be on the album...why not?

I'm not doubting you but what is the source for this? Did the Chinese leak this? I ask because her site isn't updated and I'm not seeing any articles on it.

Baidu leaked the tracklists and that photo this morning, but actually a Japanese forum posted basic info (title, editions, release date) about a week ago. The music video titles leaked last night. Everyone thought all of it was fake until today.

She completely dropped BRIGHTER DAY and is going in a whole new direction. I love it when she does things like this :lol:

Me too, though it's very rare..which is why Party Queef was so excited for me as How Beautiful You Are was the only single and that was released digitally maybe a month before? Makes the album so fresh which is so rare in Jpop.

 

Now I can listen to the singles, as I was just waiting for the album to listen to it fully.
