What tier do they belong?

They have:

Popular A+ tier member - HyunA

Many Hit songs such as: Hot issues,Huh,Whats your name and Crazy

High SNS/YT status:

They have almost 1,000,000 subscribers on Youtube!

They have almost 200,000 likes and 13,000,0000 views for "Crazy" M/V ALREADY!

They have fairly good physical sales for a girl group(20k ~ 25k)

Good Digitals + Longevity/Charting

Great International Recognition

And they're having an Asia Tour this year! starting soon....

Do you think they actually can climb into tier 2 this year or stay at tier 3?

This is based totally on my own perception of kpop (I don't follow charts, sales, ranking and stuff so much so what I gather is mostly from netizen comments and articles) but i would place them between the second and third tier I guess. First would be 2NE1 and SNSD, second would be F(X) for example and 4minutes is somewhere in between. They're popular enough and as you mentioned they have Hyuna, so I believe their place is pretty stable.

Tier 6

Don't be delulu.

Solid Tier 3, possibly between 2 and 3 considering how huge HyunA is - her solos and TroubleMaker chart well and always stay on at least social chart, IIRC Now is on Social Chart 1.5 years later, so that's at least awareness. Plus, arguably, she's the most internationally recognized female idol (while SNSD is probably the top recognized girl group, HyunA's videos have gone viral as well and she's in Gangnam Style, which has had 2-3 billion views).

Aside from Is it Poppin, 4Min songs since Volume Up have all done at least reasonably well (even WDT won against 2ne1 and SNSD last year) and their physical sales aren't complete shit. They were doing ok until the sajaegi thing with Volume Up EP...

They're below f(x)/GsD at this point but are in now way below AOA -  4Min have actually had world tours.

Don't be dumb. They've had concerts in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Sweden, and USA.

That's more 'world' than SM even lets their artists do.

Those aren't world tours. And a lot of those concerts that they do are joint concerts where they're not even the headliners.
