Paradise Kiss also has amazing art. Sailor Moon brought pastel before pastel was in. I love the art and style by Naoko Takeuchi. A mahnwa, not a manga but The Bride of the Water God is probably on top of my list. Great visuals all over, the storyline is great (until the second half till the ending).
