I really wanna see how Tukutz would react tho. I've been rewatching old interviews and he's actually lowkey secretly sassy.

 I secretly believes that Tukutz's sassiness stems from the time Blo and Mitrha dissed him on FAQ. I dont believe that his wounds are healed yet. That Cyworld verse was preeeeety hurtful.

what about the Leessang thread everyone abandoned it.

 

It will be more active when Epik High finally comes back and hopefully they will with something worth my time. I don't want anyone from YG involved in this album, no YG features or production. Hoping for a MYK feature. Reduce Tablo's singing verses as much as possible or just get rid of them cause he is no Gaeko.

 

Remapping, Pieces, Map of the Human Soul were all great, but ngl, I am not gonna get my hopes high that this one will be as great but I just want something nice listenable.

You're right. They mentioned 99 to be a 'concept album' and the first album where they collaborated with other producers for their sound. It's no doubt YG's effort in order to make their songs more commercial. (Which is a weird thing to say because they're one of the most commercially successful group that has come out of the underground scene) Maybe this time they'll have full control of their sound like they used to, which is doubtful, but its nice to think positively. Anyways, I do find their previous body of works superior that what they've put out in 99. A little side note tho, I love Tablo's Fever End. YG did him right for a solo in my opinion.

What I don't understand is why YG let Tablo produce the amazing Fever's End but meddled in 99, which turned out to be the worst EH album ever imo. 

 

Anyway I can't help but still have high expectations for the album because it's EH no matter what. Since YG has been going for the mellow sound this year and the try-hard isn't as bad as before, maybe he'll leave EH's album alone. We're definitely getting the album this year, right?   It's long overdue.

 

Knowing YG, he's probably going like: hmmm maybe the fans have been pampered with all these new debuts. EPIK HIGH COMEBACK PENDING MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

God, I get annoyed whenever I remember Bom's voice in Up. Please no YG artists this time.

you're right. I dont mind Bom's voice the first dozen time I hear it, but after that first dozen I really dont care much for the song -_- It's the same with most of the tracks. It's not a complete trash of an album like most people say it is, it's better then what most people shovel out in a mixtape, but I guess most of my qualm with the album is it's lack of replayability. at first the songs are attractive enough for me to want to buy the album, but after then I kinda lost interest. I do like It's Cold, Kill this Love, and that one song with Gaecko tho.

I just came back from YG's family concert in Singapore and TABLO PULLED AN OKASIAN and answered his phone on stage during encore! Ohhhh is this a sign? IS THERE AN OKASIAN COLLABO IN THE NEW ALBUM? I DONT KNOW BUT I'M LOVING IT. Also Mithra, Tukutz, and Blo each threw a towel with this writing on it to the crowd.

 

 

 

This might have something to do with the new album? I really hope there is. They just kept giving out hints and I cant help but be super excited XD
