God, I get annoyed whenever I remember Bom's voice in Up. Please no YG artists this time.

Up would've still sucked with another vocalist. A really good MV concept was wasted on that mess of a song. smh

 

(I'm not one of those 99 haters. I listen to New Beautiful, Kill This Love, Don't Hate Me, and It's Cold a lot.)

 

EH has such good taste in vocalists so I really hope YG just stays out of it.

I didn't mind Taeyang's featuring on Tablo's album nor Lee Hi on 99.

 

I also would not mind Kang Seung Yoon.

Ooooh, KSY would be really interesting! I'm sometimes "eh" about his voice on WINNER stuff but I came across a John Legend cover of his recently and he totally killed it. *o*

I love Lee Hi's voice but I felt like it was in an unflattering range for her, which made me wonder if she was kinda pushed into "It's Cold". But whatev, I could just be overthinking haha. Tbh out of all the YG artists, I'd wanna see the girl from AkMu do some featuring like she did for "Umbrella". Not many singers in YG have that pure, bright tone and I feel like she gets overlooked a lot. :( I guess I'm not against YG artists featuring... I just want to know that they're featured because they're the best artist for the part, without any influence of YG himself in the decision making.

 

Oh.  I didn't think of Soohyun.  Yes.  She'd make an awesome collab with Epik High.

Why did I find out Epik High is doing SXSW so late?

Why is SXSW so expensive and crowded?

 

I have the week of SXSW off...

 

...as of now.

 

But I'd rather them make an extra stop in LA or SF.

Tablo Invites “Tablo’s Dreaming Radio†Listeners to YG’s Cafeteria; Gives Fans “YG Tourâ€

Epik High’s Tablo kept the promise he made with “Tablo’s Dreaming Radio†listeners.

One of the listeners of Tablo’s radio show, “Tablo’s Dreaming Radio,†sent a story to the broadcast studio saying that she “wanted to eat a meal at YG Entertainment’s cafeteria.†YG’s cafeteria is famous for having quality Korean food, and serving celebrities such as Justin Bieber. Hearing the listener’s story, Tablo promised listeners of his show that he will hold a small fan meeting at YG’s cafeteria.

On January 30, Tablo sat down at a table where BIGBANG and Jinusean often eat their meals, according to him, with some of his radio fans at the cafeteria. He also shared how his daughter Haru was doing, and talked about the radio program.

Later, WINNER‘s Kang Seung Yoon, who had taken over “Tablo’s Dreaming Radio†for one day, visited the fan meeting and took pictures with the fans.

After the meal, Tablo served coffee to the fans and took pictures with each listener. He also showed them Epik High’s studio, which is located across from YG’s building.

When the “YG tour†ended, Tablo left for his next schedule after bidding farewell to the listeners saying, “Next time, I will invite some listeners to MBC’s cafeteria.â€

The Theatre at the Ace Hotel looks gorgeous.  I've been to the Orpheum and it's gorgeous as well.
