slight ficlet :

The three of them get crazy drunk for old times’ sake. After almost a decade, crazy Heerobbong is still crazy, announcing a sudden plan to enlist. The rest of Bbong can only wonder what’s gotten into his pretty little head. Dorobbong cheers him on, Yurobbong smiles encouragingly. But Heerobbong doesn’t miss the gloom in their eyes, the flash of sadness. So he carts them off to the nearest bar, hoping that alcohol will magically erase all that he’s said.
Six soju bottles later, Yurobbong insists that they shouldn’t stop at five, the three of them are seeing stars, sashaying to a silent tune.
“We should’ve done this sooner!†Doro suddenly announces, grinning like a lovesick fool. Heero pats him in the head comfortingly. He wonders if this boy will always bring out motherly affections from him.
“We should do this again!†Yuro declares, drunk on soju and Heero’s touches. Heero motions for him to scoot closer. And he does, following his command like a puppy. Heero awards him with a beautiful, lopsided smile and a chaste kiss. Yuro feels like he can fly.
Suddenly, there’s really no reason to be sad.
