An anime adaptation for the manga “Owari no Seraph†was announced last year - a shounen story with a young boy wanting to save the world by eliminating the enemy who appears one day for no apparent reason.

The story is about a world where a deadly virus has killed every infected human over the age of 13. At the same time, vampires emerge and enslave what was left of mankind. The protagonist, Hyakuya Yuuichirou, and his friends are trapped by the vampires and are treated as livestock. The protagonist wants to kill every single vampire for the sake of survival and retribution.

The Animation Production of Owari no Seraph will be done by Wit Studio (known for the anime adaptation of the Attack on Titan.) As a fairly new studio that was founded in 2012 by producers of Production I.G., Owari no Seraph will be it's 5th title.

  • Attack on Titan (2013)
  • Hal (2013)
  • HÅzuki no Reitetsu (2014)
  • Attack on Titan: Guren no Yumiya (2014) - Movie
  • Attack on Titan: No Regrets (2014)
  • The Rolling Girls (2015)
  • Seraph of the End (2015)

The studio recently released a new promotional video showing us every reason we need to look forward to this action anime. The anime is scheduled to air on April 4th.

Guilty Crown was made by Wit Studio too.

This looks like it has budget and it has Sawano

but you are kind of dumb if you think anything will get to attack on titan popularity level in the next 5 years.  That sort of hype comes like once every few years.

If anything, Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works is the only thing with a chance but that story is like 12 years old so prob not.
