[BREAKING NEWS] Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito CLEARED of murdering Meredith Kercher

Italy's top court's ruling to acquit Amanda Knox and former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher brings an end to the high-profile case. Kercher was found dead in 2007 and both Knox and Sollecito were convicted in 2009, cleared in 2011 and then ordered to face a retrial, The Guardian reports. In 2014, an appeals court reinstated the convition. Today's decision declined to order another retrial.

What makes people so sure she did it? The prosecutions main evidence  which was the DNA was completely shoddy. They are left with a pretty fantastical story that needs hard evidence to be believed. They did not even show evidence that the couple even met or new Guede yet alone had a a drug/sex party that became murderous., All they have  have is the word of a person that struck a deal and was trying to get a plea deal.

And the poor Black man in prison while these two are out. Shows how crappy the system in Italy still is. The entire case was handled poorly, the police did a lot of shoddy shit and only one person was accused and convicted, when the three of them were responsible.

Italy doesn't have double jeopardy correct (obviously they can't since she's been in and out with italian courts at least twice)? Anyhow this won't be the last of the case. I think Amanda Knox did kill Meredith but I digress
