once changmin was asked in interview which one i don't remember how do they make peace after fights.

changmin answered that sometimes it's enough for him to just look at yunho at stage.

sometimes i feel like writing an essay about homin relationship. so much i want to say lol

no need to be embarrassed. other threads write lengthy essays about their OTPs all the time so this is the place for it   I'd be interested in what you think. Homin don't really get as much written about them as other pairings...

i'm actually agree with what people say sometimes. that homin are awkward. except they are not awkward because they are not close. it's more like they are awkward because it's what they are. they are clumsy in expressing themselves. i know it's my observation through prism of my perception and still that is how i think.

 

changmin:

this kid had real and if you ask me quite freaking huge issue with this his life choice: to be in tvxq. he does not handle attention well, he is self-conscious with cameras, he is a type who listens and thinks and then doesn't speak. and all these features don't settle good with his profession. by his words he went from wanting different life to being happy with his. but nothing about his nature is changed. he just learnt what he likes and learnt how to accept what he is. it's part of growing up. and people by your side along with hardships you overcome are parts of growing up. all in all changmin was and pretty much is restrained by his character.

 

yunho:

he is responsible by nature and the problem with yunho: his sense of responsibility is hypertrophied. since his decision to rebel and go to Seoul against his father's will it seems like he thinks he is due to be responsible in full for everything he does. add his strong will and his leadership in tvxq was pretty understandable choice. but imo being a leader of other 4 brought in huge restraint on his character.

 

so these two have strong restraints. in some kind we all have. but by my point their restraints correlate when they are in front of cameras. so there is no way they can be entirely at ease and act 'look at us best buddies having fun' when they are tvxq.

back in the db5k days they had other three. and jaechunsu who are much more carefree 'catalyzed' both yunho and changmin. that's what they need tbh especially changmin. that's what kyuhyun does for him. e.g. last SMTown Japan and that ichigo-head madness. it's not what changmin really does in public.

anyway. remembering AADBSK talks and some other interviews homin really did explain themselves quite well and it didn't change nowadays. like their relationships are not really for the broad light. yunho did say changmin is the one who dealt with that his leader-restraint. and i belive now it's much easier for yunho to be a leader cause it's two of them and it's changmin who is here. changmin did have boy-crush for yunho in some point. and it's more really about how much changmin looked up to his hyung and how much it helped to dealt with his own problem.

 

now for the sake of logic lol. the fact that they both stayed means they have similar principles when it comes to loyalty and work ethics. it also means they have good heads. the fact that they started anew as a duo means they have trust, they have faith. deep and trustworthy relationships are what they have.

 

for the sake of observation. when i just started to follow them i was sure that they stand pressed to each other mostly because of subconscious habit to leave place for ex-members. but three years have passed and it's not really getting better. worse yes. so considering their restored confidence i must say it's most probably just them subconsciously feeling better in front of cameras when they are all over each other’s personal space. except those times when changmin wants his face to look smaller so he steps behind yunho and stands close so yunho won't move. those times do not count.

 

they are not just partners or coworkers or friends or family. they are all this together. depends on situation i guess. because i don't think it's possible to stay out emotionally when you've gone so far with your relationships. growing up side by side, learning from each other, leaning on each other.

I agree that Yunho struggles to express himself because he feels overly responsible and Changmin struggled with balancing his idol life and his desire to grow up normally. it makes sense. it's a relief and a happiness that they've finally found some balance in their lives now. I can't imagine one without the other.

idk if i'm glad or not. i mean it's all guessing. i can't not analyze them when i follow them so closely. but when you're writing it down it seems lame lol

see not bad at all .. you were worried for nothing.    and i agree with most of your observation to some extent with some twist :D 

 

for me, it is not that min couldn't handle attention but he didn't want attention at all, he is not shy per say but he is the kind of person who wants to keep things private he said so himself he is more of a listener, so he'd pretty much prefer to listen to others than share things about him. i think in a way yunho helped him break out of that shell by praising/encouraging him (spoiling him :D and yes i think yunho spoils min to the moon and back)

 

i don't think homin were any less carefree than the other past members, it is just they are not a camera hogging, look we are fun/funny type .. i believe they take their role as an idol very seriously and they take responsibility for their action (the reason they don't act like themselves in front of cameras or they don't have sns now) .. i remember in an old interview someone saying yun is child like behind cameras .. i believe min is the same but only with the person he is comfortable with/the person he trusts .. that's where kyuhyun and yunho come in. 

 

hehehe thank God i'm not the only one who thought min had a boy crush on yun .. i think at first he was intimidated (remember their first meeting before debut   ).. but after a while i think it turned into admiration and then love
