ok so as some of u know im on medication now... im on 15mg of focalin (i need way more or smth bc it's not even helping my ADD, just causing me to have bad headaches, mood swings and further depression)

ugh anyways i keep getting mood swings, one day ill wake up fine and take a pill and im sad/angry in the morning, simmer down a bit in the afternoon, then am totally super happy!!! in 4th block and then once i get home from school im usually angry and violent and on a short fuse

i told my mom thats its not working and she said to give it another week but like i dont want to bc all its doing is affecting my mood

so is there anyway to like prevent this from happening or to help control it cuz its super awk when ur about to cry and break down in class over nothing or are like 5 seconds from bashing the person sitting in front of u's face into the desk and out of no where

Tell your doctor about it. I was on really heavy meds for ADD when I was like 17 and it seriously turned me into a crazy person (understandable since at the time I was 88 pounds and taking like 64mg a day probably too heavy of a dose for my size at the time). My psychiatrist put me on a lower dose and also put me on mood stabilizing pills. Now I'm perfectly fine with no mood swings.

Hope things work out for you, ADD meds can be a serious bitch
