On the March 21 episode of SBS PowerFM‘s â€œCultwo Show,†actor Noh Joo Hyun tells a story about the odd song choice that Lee Seung Gi made when he performed at Noh Joo Hyun’s daughter’s wedding.

DJ Cultwo says to him, “I heard that Lee Seung Gi sang â€˜I Want You and I Resent You’ at your daughter’s wedding.â€

“That’s correct,†laughs Noh Joo Hyun. “He was congratulating them, but the song was about saying goodbye to someone.â€

 

 

The song is a ballad from 2001 by the K-pop duo As One. It does seem like an odd choice for a wedding, as the lyrics tell the story of someone whose partner is still hung up on their ex-lover. Although it’s not clear if the couple in the song are breaking up, this tale of heartbreak is a little strange for such a happy celebration!

Lee Seung Gi and Noh Joo Hyun met each other on the set of KBS‘s â€œFamous Princesses†back in 2006.

Lee Seung Gi has been focusing on hosting TV shows and acting recently, but he’s currently preparing to stage a comeback as a singer this April with a new album!

If it was from 2009 onward, it would have been better, since he could sing his legendary "Will You Marry Me".
