Crime Scene2, by just watching which, we can feel bleak. When I visit to filming scene, the feeling grew more. The atmosphere around filming scene was silence to the extent which I would be sorry if I say a word and tension like watching a movie sustained.

 

Before filming about 40~50 staffs was busy moving around and checking camera movement and props, and CP yoon hyeon joon went into set zone and check it precisely. After filming begun, PDs and CP yoon hyeon joon including writters discussed like a duck swimming hardly under river although it’s calm above river. This is why deduction was done strongly.

 

The film to be aired may 13^th was done in bitmaru(빛마루) set zone in ilsan. We visit there watched how filming was done, that cant be seen on tv.

 

* How does film zone look?

 

The filming of CS2 was being done in huge studio. The studio was in black curtains it was darker that what is seen on tv. Staffs covered equips with them lest lights of equips would leak. Only the set of crime scene and 6 members were seen. Especially when briefing, the lights were on where briefing was going, so face of foreman couldn’t be seen.

 

And because cameras of crime scene takes scene in 360 degree, they cover lights with black curtains and make dark moods. And production team sat on ground and watched the filming because they can’t been taken by camera for viewers’ concentrations to be raised.

 

*How long does the filming take?

 

The filming of CS is going from morning to evening every Thursdays for about 7~8 hours. At about 10 am, members get to the studio and change into their role, and staffs check props and set zone. And then they begin filming from about 11 am.

 

In the case of this day, filming begun little bit lately from 11: 45 am. While filming was going, there are no rest time or lunch time. Staffs eat Gimbab instead of lunch and keep filming without rest. When filming starts, all lights were turn off except where crime happened in set zone and detective appeared. And all suspects came and deductions started.

 

Filming was going fast like deduction really goes. It took 20 minute for detective and suspects to discuss. Right away on-site investigation begun and 15 min was given to each team. After a team ends the investigation, staffs got in the scene and rearranged scattered clews fast and precisely. Because all props should be where they were at first, all staffs enter and checked the scene with the picture of them taken before filming. Rearranging took 5- 10 minute and other team started on-site investigation. Finally CP yoon hyeon joon walked around the set and checked.

 

And then briefing, 1^st detective’s vote, additional investigation, construction of deduction, reveal of the criminal were going straight and filming was finished at 8 pm.

 

* 5 suspects, do they really only deduce while it’s filming?

 

Really 6 members keep doing deduction. Waiting rooms are assigned to each person per 1 room, so members don’t have time to meet others unless they are in set zone going to waiting rooms.

On-site investigation is going in pair, the circumstance is like they can’t talk who is criminal freely getting along with a person that they want to talk with. Because of that when they are meeting all together, deductions are competitive. Atmosphere is hot as if they were fighting while they talk and listen to deductions. Only CP’s words “let’s go for vote†can make them take off seats

CP yoon said “they are not bored although it takes 7-8 hours because they feel fun do very hardly. They would keep deduction overnight. They go for casting vote because I said ‘let’s go for vote’â€

Did they change the reward tier for the detective from $2000 to $1000? In part 2 of episode 5 (30:30 mark) the "voice" had mentioned that if the three participants were correct in their assessment they would each receive $1000.

Oh I have a general question for everyone also. I saw the pictures from the cruise boat murder?? I think that's what it's called? Will Xiumin be the detective for that one? He was the only one wearing somewhat detective-like clothes?

The victim is Yoo Kihwan, First Mate(iffy translation? It sounded like vice-captain for me, but there's no such thing as vice captain in the marine) of the Cruise Ship

 

Captain Hong, Navigator Jang, Manager Xi, Crew Ha, Jazz Park(???)

Interesting bunch... 

 

 

I hope it's a female killer (5 male killers in a row....already..)

 

 

victim yoo kihwan's job is staff captain.

 

i know the word by korean-english dictionary.

 

and as you guess it, 부선장 means kind of vice-chairman in a cruiseship.

 

and let's not forget that Jang Jin  becomes detective Jang in 6th case

a murdered corpse was found in the 1st ultra-luxurious cruise ship in korea,  'Center Cruse' sailing around korea, china and japan during 10 days of 9 nights.
