did you read my spoiler??

and what is the "Whodunnit"? can you explain about the programe? plz??

Yup! Just read your spoiler :) whodunnit is a murder mystery american reality show! It actually broadcasted a year before crime scene 1 and some people say the pd of crime scene 1 probably got some inspiration from this show. 13 guests are invited to this mansion where only 1 person will emerge as the winner. In the first episode, 1 of the guest is prearranged to be killed and another 1 is the prearranged murderer. The remaining guests have the choice to investigate 1 out of 3 crime scenes with clues in them. They have to team up to get the clues from different scenes and at the end of the episode have to present the entire case of how the murder was committed. The person with the lowest score will be the victim in the next episode.

You can watch this show here if you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80OXXnRxsRM This is episode 1 and all the other episodes can be found on the sidebar ;) I think one big plus point about this american show is that the murders are portrayed very very realistically that audience actually wondered if the guests were really killed in the show.

wow I didn't know jiyoon originally did not want to return to season 2 of crime scene. She appeared so calm and confident in season 1 that I couldn't tell she felt stressed. Anyway I'm very glad she returned!! :)

Overall

I personally was so surprised about Jang Dongmin's memory skill, that i thought he would have gotten the test all right tbh. He was really good, i mean even guessing the code to unlock the lock (sorry for the game of words). I'm expecting a lot from him.

Hani, well, Hani is Hani. Not even surprised about her amazing skills in everything, since she's basically the perfection itself, and i'm glad people will start understand she isn't just a pretty face. She's so smart, so polite, and the most anticipated in this season (i mean i started watching the show as soon as she was announced to be a main in this, so).

Jangjin (?), I think he didn't put as much effort as he should, tbh. It was an interesting way of seeing things, but still he overlooked them too much, missing important points and not putting much thought into it. But I'm sure he will show some changes in the upcoming episodes.

Kong jinho is perfect, even tho i expected more from him, he's still the top tbh.

While (unpopular opinion) I didn't like Park jiyoon at all in Crime Scene 1, as she was always so suspicious and sometimes it bothered me. I don't have much to say about her for this episode, but I hope she'll be slightly less loud/all talking and more into it in this season

That is all

Dongmin was a god to understand the code of the padlock.

Hani has too much imagination lol inlcuding the coffee girl and the guy with the umbrella in her reasoning.

I wonder how Hani knew she was making a "ugly face". I mean the episode has not been broadcasted and people are not aware of the faces they make especially during that kind of stressful event. I suppose it is the writers that asked her to speak about it.

I was interested at first, but then I got bored.

The talking part was not interesting. Even Dongmin was not as good. Maybe he needs ah young at his side.

The game part. They kind of messed up the explanations of the results. Why did they not compare the scenarios of each player? Why did they not speak about where they were false? They could have a discussion to form the right scenario with each others' information.

The new rules are an interesting add from the initial concept, that I don't find thrilling enough to be entertained. As I said in the previous thread if it was about preventing an event to happen in real-time, I would be interested, but not solving murder case. I will stay loyal to The Genius.

So i don't know what criteria they used in awarding marks...so here is what i thought

1.i thought Dongmin would score the highest score...seriously he didnt let go of any hint
2.Hani didn't surprise me...i knew she was good
3.Jinho walks around like a boss and gets the answer right away,he didn't take notice on the hints provided! its impressive...even though i think he guessed
4.Director guy seemed confident, looking forward to his detective skills.Jiyoon did well too...i hope she brings her A game next Eps
overall the Case was simple this time LOL

The rules are very secondary to the appeal of Crime Scene. The show is appealing because of the scenario setup and the level of details that are put into the setup, the real-life events the episodes are based on, the cast interaction and the complete tension at the end. It may not be your type of show if you don't like it.

here is what a fan of crime scene and hong jinho guessed how production team gave score to 5 players :)

he said that it looks like that production team gave to players as many scores as they can.

case reports can be found in the clip

sorce: http://gall.dcinside.com/hongjinho/694308

These below are criteria of score and each sentence is 10 score fully. So full score is 10x10=100 score

  1. The victim is Maknae So PD.
  2. Maknae So PD is married
  3. The criminal is Superstar Writer
  4. Superstar Writer is left-handed
  5. Superstar Writer was stalking Maknae So PD.
  6. Superstar Writer confessed to Maknae So PD
  7. Maknae So PD cruelly rejected Superstar Writer’s advances
  8. Maknae So PD tipped off a Disspass reporter about Superstar Writer’s stalking habits
  9. When Superstar Writer learned of this, She drugged Makane So PD’s coffee with sleeping pills
  10. When Maknae So PD fell asleep, she stabbed the left side of his neck with scissors and hid the weapon inside a pouch

How Park Ji yoon would get 35 score according to the criteria

  1. 5 score(she wrote the victim is PD)
  2. 0 score(nothing written)
  3. 10 score(she wrote at final line that†my main suspect is Superstar Writerâ€
  4. 0 score(not written)
  5. 0 score(not written)
  6. 10 score(she wrote it at no.2)
  7. 5 score( she got partial score because she guessed possibility of a crime of passion)
  8. 0 score(she didn’t get the clue about no.8)
  9. 0 score( not written)
  10. 5 score( she wrote where the murder weapon is but didn’t mention about how to murder)

How Jang jin would get 35 score

  1. 5 score( he wrote who is the victim)
  2. 0 score
  3. 10score( he wrote the criminal is the writer, superstar)
  4. 0
  5. 0
  6. 5 score(( he got partial score because he guessed possibility of a crime of passion)
  7. 0
  8. 5 score( self-defence would mean e-mailing to dispass)
  9. 5 score(he wrote the use of sleeping pill, but actually the victim wasn’t murdered by poison pill, so he got minus)
  10. 0

Hong hin ho

  1. 0 ( not written correctly)
  2. 10 (he suggested the marriage ring as the reason that the victim is married)
  3. 10 (written)
  4. 10(he wrote why the murder is left-handed base on the position of mouse pad and the angle of murdering)
  5. 10 score( written)
  6. 10(written)
  7. 10(written)
  8. 5score( subject was not written correctly)
  9. 0(not written)
  10. 5(he didn’t write where the murder weapon is)

Jang dong min

  1. 10 score( 88-year-born PD)
  2. 10( the victim was married)
  3. 0( he guessed the criminal is a celebrity)
  4. 0(not written)
  5. 0(not written)
  6. 10( written)
  7. 5(he wrote the victim rejected something, but the something is not correct)
  8. 5( he wrote someone who get the love from the victim is celebrity, not the writer)
  9. 5( he only suggested that the criminal saw the e-mail and this fact motivated)
  10. 10( how to murder and where the murder weapon is are written)

Hani

  1. 10( 88-year-born PD)
  2. 10( She wrote that he is married)
  3. 10( she wrote the writer)
  4. 0( not written)
  5. 10(she wrote superstar writer stalked him)
  6. 10(written)
  7. 0(she misunderstand that e-mail to dispass is all of motive of the murder)
  8. 5( she didn’t write that the victim sent e-mail to dispass)
  9. 10(written)
  10. 5( she didn’t write where murder is)

This episode was very good. It brought back the Crime Scene feels from season 1, and it will be even more tense next episode, when the real game starts.

More about the episode in the spoiler:

I like the fake meeting part, to set the tone for the fixed cast, as well as bring the old cast back into the game. Even tho the game was a bit too simple, it was a nice taste for the cast of what's to come.

I guess the talk around the round table was to show the different personalities to the viewers, but I found it rather boring in the end. They could have done a lot more with it.

To round my somewhat short review off, I sincerely hope that Hani and Ji Yoon wont be too bubbly and excited about male guests, as well as the male cast towards female guests.. There really is no place in this show for that kind of image, and I hope they understand that themselves. It will affect the show and games in a bad manner.

Anywho, looking forward to the next episode, it should be good. And it's time for me to binge watch season 1, to warm up  my own deduction skills for this upcoming season :D

when watching it on time, i think that jinho couldnt get high socre because he just pass by some hints that production team gave him while he get to the meeting room( a female who served a cup of coffee, saying "it's sleepy"  a man opening his black umblera on which the yellow G is put, 2 floors that elevator stopped on, and 2 females carrying handbag in the 2 floors etc) but he got highest socre 70/100 along with hani. he deduced the crimianl, and how to murder, and why murder case happened only with given things in the meeting room

but i dont think that he happened to deduce them well luckily... i have to upload other picture about last episode 10 in s1

11035626_10204997315227464_6039362604989

<i didnt cut but release in the episode, that he deduced like this while role-playing athough his deduction was long. in the work place i was surprized because his deduction was almost same with the story we made> by yoon hyeon joon, Chief producer s1 and s2

i also was thrilled after realizing. in s1 there were several times that criminal was caught but, it's almost first time that story behind murder case was deduced well. actually it was not easy to deduce in last episode 10. because although the murder seemed to have happened in plan, but a doctor in hint scene refered that murder may have done by not plan, suddenly provied with wound around corpse. which means they had to link 2 contradicted facts. but hong jinho made it in linking the 2 facts~!

especially he seemed to be good at interpreting

Frankly I dislike Whodunnit. It was such a pity how they wasted the brilliant crew and special effects that were the same behind the

legendary "CSI" drama. I just can't believe the ending

when the winner did not even know how he/she won and was not aware who the real murderer was until there was no one left.

Goes to show the importance of competent cast members and guests to such a deduction variety. If you don't mind the weak cast, the show can be quite entertaining.

I like Park Jiyoon too because she is a good balance of variety and hosting the show. She is quite a perfectionist in a way so I am not surprised she felt the pressure of having to perform well for such programmes. A part of the stress couldhave come from

the way she crumbled in the last episode of season 1, thus leaving a blemish on her otherwise perfect record.

That said, she would make a good candidate for The Genius too, but that will mean even more at stake.

My own take on E1 (technically Episode 0):

안녕하십니까 had earlier translated about the news of this first episode being more like an introduction rather than 'solving' a proper case per se. It was more for viewers to have some idea of the playing style of the newer members. Jang Dongmin was my pick as the best performer. Although he did not manage to score well in his conclusions, his subconscious memory was jjang and he was great in making use of his observations to break the codes. Jang Jin has an interesting perspective of wanting to find out the triangular structure leading to the story outcome (i.e. the murder), although I laughed so loud when he totally missed that stab wound and wrongly attributed the cause of death. It would be too boring if everyone is similar in their perspectives. Well I totally prefer him over Kang Yongsuk. Hani was so jumpy after the initial start as well as when the speakers blasted, but the memo addict in her scholarly way jotted down the pertinent and crucial points in her report (reminds me so much of school days).

Jinho was just bumbling around and probably deciphered the least clues (other than Jang Jin) but he formed logical and convincing conclusions based on limited information, reminiscent of his performance in S1E10. Jiyoon's performance was mediocre but should come better in the subsequent episodes.

The takeaway from this episode is that it is not just about how good you can gather clues and break codes, but how to make sense of the situation based on the information you have found. You can have all the jigsaw puzzle pieces in your hands, but it is futile if you can't form a complete picture with them.

Overall this is a decent introduction to the new season, and I eagerly look forward to E02.  :)
