About Season 1 of Crime scene compared to what happened in the latest episode of season 2:

 

Is this the first time they had someone murdered while the episode was airing/ is this the first case they've had with 2 murder victims? I'm curious about how this season is different from last?

 

 

 

This case is the first double murder in crime scene.

 

There are a lot of differences in this season than the previous.

The victim is Yoo Kihwan, First Mate(iffy translation? It sounded like vice-captain for me, but there's no such thing as vice captain in the marine) of the Cruise Ship

Interesting bunch... 

 

 

I hope it's a female killer (5 male killers in a row....already..)

It is weird the bullet is stuck just there. Shouldn't it pass through the victim...

 

also the thing about gunpowder residue reminded me of a case in BOSS (japanese drama) where they stuck his hand out of a cardboard paper to prevent residue from catching on.

The biggest plot point will be: Why did he lose his/her memory of the crime? Amnesia must be triggered either psychologically or by physical trauma. It is quite an extreme condition, so it is quite hard to find a sensible cause (that ties to the crime).

 

Maybe someone with previous psychological condition? (Dissociative Identity Disorder would fit this: The person doing the crime in the other personality, would have another personality that has no memory of the crime. )

or the person did the crime out of self defense/manslaughter.

 

My thoughts remind me myself of the Japanese Drama, Dr. Brain (which touches upon the subject of suspects with amnesia and DID)

@KimGG what about the handcuffs count? to accuse two people of murder, the cuffs would have to be spread over two people in that case. But reworking the handcuffs system would immediately give away that there are two criminals(if this is the intended message then ignore everything I said lol)

 

or, have only the true killer be accused (and maybe get a bonus for selecting the correct accomplice in the suspect selection time).

yes as you said , there should be added reasonable and strong story. i.e.) when game begins, the criminal would recognize that he doesn't have his memory of around murder-estimated time. so writters of the story should consider and overcome this.. actually i got this idea from a korean movie  parallel life(í‰í–‰ì´ë¡ , 2009).

 

 

 

Dissociative Identity Disorder.. that's a good idea something has been up in mind. before the crime, he has misunderstand that he has somnambulism, but in fact he has the DID. so his alibi during the time of the crime is he slept but actually while sleeping another idendity in him appeared and commit murder

I am not ^_^ it's only my screen name, but I can understand at least, a bit of conversational level. ä¹¾ is the kanji if you're still curious.

The person with DID has an alternate personality that has a DIFFERENT dominant hand, throwing off suspicion. The wound must be clearly made with a left-handed person though for the plot point of different dominant hand to surface. 

 

Also, a different way in how they tamper with the crime scene (like a neat alter ego will clean up the blood, or a murderous alter ego who stabbed multiple times) that usually contradict the suspect's default personality

 

but I suppose it's a bit too complicated and it would require a clue/specialists

 

Since Crime Scene has already touched quite a sensitive subject before, I really like it when there's a reasonably complex element in a case.

 

 

I sincerely hope there is another program like Crime Scene(or have a season 3). I love crime-related entertainment and I cannot get enough.

It is probably recorded in one sitting. It's like one HUGE case split into two episodes. The killer in part 2 is most likely already mentioned in the role cards. 

 

The murder weapon is likely poison, so it is not impossible for it to happen during investigation, or even BEFORE the suspects gathered.

One of the most interesting episode so far. The cast's chemistry is so good. I was laughing so hard during the briefing. The episodes are getting better and better.

 

I guessed it right but I wasn't very sure because they failed to uncover a LOT of clues. They were so fixated on JDM and HJH that they failed to reason a couple of things like, if it was HJH, then how could he have killed him when his gun was with PJY? Plus the missing bullet from JDM's gun was very suspicious but I didn't think it was him tbh. He couldn't have ran like that. It was physically impossible. So my guess is someone knows his gun is there, and took one of his bullets. It's not HJH because his gun is with PJY. Hani doesn't have a gun. PJY had a gun but she didn't kill him, though she did stab him with her pin lol. So my guess was XiuManager but it was only when they found his gun that I was kinda sure it was him. Especially when I saw his gun was loaded. I also thought it was suspicious how he found the keys and opened the chest with the gun. But still I wasn't very sure.

 

Xiumin was so happy he fooled them this time lol.

 

I thought it was weird he had to leave like that. If he was gonna go early like usual, they don't normally air it. But it was shocking when Jinho just dropped dead like that. Looks like Jinho won't be in the next episode. My guess, the killer is a woman this time because of the murder method.

 

 

 

 

This raises a giant red flag for Jazz Park.

 

Or maybe it is a red herring~

 

The pin or the syringe is my suspected murder weapon

 

I also liked the fact that the Passenger hasn't had her real name revealed yet.

Maybe their relationship isn't happy. I think Jazz Park's pin is too big for the finger wound though and the syringe would be too much effort. It needs to be discreet. I doubt the victim knew his finger was pricked. My guess for now is the Passenger, NS Yoonji. Maybe they didn't reveal her name because she's an ex-gf of the captain? She's mad at him because he left her for Jazz Park lol

 

 

 

 

 

Perhaps the killer led the victim into a trap that would result to him having to/accidentally get his finger pricked. I don't think the killer pricked the victim directly lol.

 

I still think the pin is a possible murder weapon... A murder weapon that the killer could have carried is even more convenient. Just like EP 7 of S1.

I think they have intentionally made it so that the killer could get away(from the show, permanently)...

 

otherwise the killer could be detained as well.

Just a note, mentioning that there was a twist effectively is a spoiler because now I will be watching looking for a twist rather than just watching with an open mind

 

Looks like I am really going to have to wait for subs as this episode seems great.

EVERYONE EXCEPT JANG JIN IN THE FINAL VOTING GOT IT WRONG.

 

A massive blow dealt by the true criminal. All of them could not solve the killer's method of murder while preserving their alibi.
