Former Glam member Dahee, who blackmailed actor Lee Byung-hun for a great sum of money, has now been released from prison.

She posted on her Instagram on the 17th saying, "Mom, I'm sorry and I'm sorry again. Thank you for being my mother. Happy birthday, my angel mother - from your two daughters".

This is her first Instagram since her 'incident' with Lee Byung-hun.

Meanwhile, Dahee and model Lee Ji-yeon blackmailed Lee Byung-hun for 5 billion won in return for a secret video of him. They were booked for blackmailing and were sentenced to a year and a year and a half in prison.

However, they appealed for bail and the court allowed it.

Well, she's out on bail. She's not scott free yet. I assume she's just out on bail until a court hearing or something? That's usually what bail means  unless it's something else with Korea's system?

i used the same title as the translated article.

they have already been sentenced? maybe they are serving their sentence with comunity service or staying at home.

I don't know. I didn't see anything else about their sentence.

But bail usually happens before the Court hearing and you stay in jail while you're waiting on your Court date. If you can make bail you can go home until your Court date and then you have your Court date and the trial happens. After everything you get the sentence and then you either are let free or get your sentence and serve it. So, I'm not sure what this is. Is it a pardon maybe? Unless Korea has some other rule about bail that is different. I'm just not sure lol. Oh, I was thinking maybe they got bail until they have to serve their time maybe?

Yeah, I just thought about it and did my edit so I think you didn't see it but I was thinking maybe they got bail while they're waiting on the appeal and all that until it's known for sure they have to serve.
