Ager 295 Posted June 25, 2016 Share Posted June 25, 2016 so i'm bored while waiting for tomorrow, and rewatching some old episodes and performance. i really wish someone will sub ep 11-33. what are your favorite performances and contestants? here are my picks for favorite kings, duet performances, and episodes: top 5 favorite kings: 1. music commander (ha hyunwoo) -- fav performance: spring rain (ep 52) 2. cleopatra (kim yeonwoo) -- fav performance: after this night (ep 10) 3. gold lacquer (luna) -- fav performance: sad fate (ep 6) 4. go hawaii (hong jimin) -- fav performance: as i say (ep 24) 5. catgirl (cha jiyeon) -- fav performance: alone (ep 34) top 5 favorite duets: 1. cleopatra & unicorn (kim yeonwoo & bae daehee) - phantom of the opera 2. madam & assasin (moon heekyung & kim boa) - is there anyone? 3. farinelli & snow queen (kcm & dana) - scar deeper than love 4. serengiti & dolphin (lee sungwoo & seo moontak) - forgotten flower 5. little match girl & butterfly (hani & kim feel) - snail AND baekdusan & apollo (song jinyoung & lee sangmin) - champion -- yes, i can't choose lol. top 5 favorite episodes: 1. episode 10: an episode i'd recommend to all first time watchers. the very essence of breaking prejudice. haha. if you haven't watched the episode or heard anything about it, watch this episode now. don't read anything about it first lol. 2. episode 34: no one is off guard, everyone is keen on winning. cosmos who wants to break cleopatra's record, catgirl who wants to win, but especially cricket who wants to finally win after his 3rd times on the show lol. 3. episode 58: legendary portamento shouting, super funny "sung sikyung who became fat", best quote ever: "singer's voice is like a fingerprint". 4. episode 63: the performances offer so more varieties, surprises, and songs are super fun. and guckkasten special performance is a plus. i guess production team didn't want rating to decrease post commander so they pulled an A game, lol. 5. episode 2: the official start of breaking off idol prejudice. luna and sandeul really surprised people with their capacities. It is hard for me to choose duets or fave ep because I haven't seen ep - 12-33 - unsubbed ones at all. I am thinking that I need to but don't know where. For fave kings I still think I know them even without watching some eps - 1. MC - fave performance hard to choose - Hayoga or Fantastic baby or Everyday I Wait (for You) 2. Ager 295 Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 just finished watching with subs. tbh contestants and performances are disappointing. i can't stand zibba's stage it's too painful lol, and i just want the girl who sang with dark knight to shut up, she's so irritating. however, as expected, mc + panelists can guarantee the fun. lol. they should be given awards this year. highlights: sungjoo's dance, femme fatale vs video trailer, "stop reading tabloid", people voted zibba for various reasons -- and loyal dance with those voters lol xD I tend to agree - there was zero performances that stood out during this time. When ppl are asking how can some vote for some - now we know the reason - basically "just because" When I watched Fantastic Duo ep with Sech Kies, I so liked the voice of main vocal in that one famous song - Couple, yep, judge me, it was the sweeeetest! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlZ9D0qWhxk I even watched Radio star and Infinity Challenge with them... but in KoMS's duet he was bland... She was eliminated in the finals against Cleopatra. Cleopatra then moved on to beat the current King and was crowned new King of masked Singers. I wrote that Ailee WAS there.
