how do you rate Red Velvet's new song? Do you expect it to do well?

I really thought that SM would give them a good comeback song, since the first two were bad. But this is not it.

I swear EXO are getting almost all the good songs from SM's music vault now, i'd hate to be a fan of an SM group that is not EXO (or f(x) )

 

The MV looks pretty, everyone looks nice except poor wendy. The dance looks dumb but the mv is nice even if the format is weird (? i don't get that square thingie, just why?)

 

I honestly think it's subpar. Why are EXO and f(x) the only ones who get decent to good songs in sm idgi

Do you think it's public friendly and is gonna chart well?

EDIT: I know it's not THE title track, but it's still a comeback song. Aren't they gonna promote the two tracks? Since it has an MV? ._.

the MV was exceptional

the song was boring af, nothing is catchy at all and i don't think South Korea is very receptive to these kinds of songs so i don't predict it getting high on the charts

I personally loved Automatic, it gave me an old-school TLC vibe, it was very R&B. The MV was very well done too, especially for a pre-release. I doubt it will do well though, considering Be Natural did pretty poorly on the charts and songs like this generally don't seem to click with the South Korean mainstream.

Out of ten, I'd give it a 5 and a half. Didn't blow me away, but it was easy on the ears.

i'm not saying that because i dislike it or because i have anything against RV, but it's not radio-friendly and it's not something that would capture the public.

 

 

also the other groups still get amazing songs -- most of them just aren't title tracks.

I found the track really basic, not bad, but not great hype material at all. Not because it was low-tempo or slow, but there was something just missing that would have made it possibly more 'indie' and less 'bland'. I liked the MV though, kinda artsy and I actually found the dance really fitting so props to them. 

 

As for how it will do, I think it will fly under the radar completely. RV are still rookies to the public so I don't think a really understated and sober song is going to be making many waves.

Not to my taste at all. I've had friends who were snsd fans and made me listen to lots of songs that were considered exceptionally good but i thought they were bad.

I have never liked not even one song from Shinee ever, whether korean releases or japanese ones. From those i heard at least.

Shinee's new japanese song is awful.
