How (un)successful would 2NE1 be without Bom and Dara?

Cus' let's face it, Bom and Dara were both the main stan attractors pre-debut - 2012 (early 2013) days, who attracted a lot of fanboys including myself and without them, more than 85% of Blackjacks wouldn't even exist today tbh. Some delulu CL Stans might disagree and say it's CL, but it only looks like way cus all CL stans are loud mouth and very opinionated...and the fact that YG is shoving CL down everyone's throat only proves my case.

Not hating, but what do y'all think? Do you think they'd be as successful as they are today without the main factors, Bom and Dara?

I came here ready to attack you, but you do have a point about how Bom & Dara were definitely the 'it girls' of 2NE1 back during their early debut days. It's sad to see how both their individual popularity has decreased since then, but I'm glad that YG is finally giving some acting opportunities to Dara, and hopefully that picks up into a proper broadcasted drama someday. 

 

Anyways, whether or not they will successful without Bom & Dara, it depends on who their 'replacements' are tbh. Even though Bom is getting a lot of flack about her singing skills these days, her singing skills were amazing during their debut days. Let's not forget her solo slayage.

Bom and Dara definitely brought popularity to 2ne1 that is a huge factor how they got where they are now, they may not be as famous as before but you cannot disregard that fact.

 

Seeing how 2ne1 being handled I always thought that the other members purpose is to be CL's wings. YG's favoritism is too much. I remmbered a time that Blackjacks were so excited for them to comeback but it kept getting pushed back until we found out that CL's solo first before 2ne1's comeback, i was like

all of them matter for 2NE1 being successful as they are right now wout all of them there would not be any 2NE1 every member is important (but also true is Bom Solos & Daras Visual/Fans in the Philippines brought a lot of success&fans for/to 2NE1, no doubt there)
