I've really disliked him since the first season on Roommate tbh, and I have no idea why he keeps getting cast in ither shows.

He seems like a major suck up and try hard. Not to mention cocky and an attention seeker.

I can understand that he wants screen time or whatever, but I'm a little annoyed by how he thinks he's oh so famous, how he's always showing off his contacts in the industry, and that he says things at inappropriate times during the shows he's on. It just seriously breaks the flow of the conversation.

This week on Roommate he did the whole "I'm hitting on yet another female idol on the show" routine with Youngji and he was being a bit of a jerk to Ryohei by ordering him around and that was honestly the last straw for me. He always has to make everything about HIM, does not know how to make things entertaining as opposed to try hard etc

I could go on and on, but yeah I'll just leave it at whenever he is in a show, I nearly always skip his parts because he really irritates me. Does anyone else just not like him as well? I actually don't know why he's still on the show.

his thirst for NANA  was lmaoooooo

worse than SAN E

I really HATED how he tried to use his influence on the show in an indirect way as a reason for her to go along with his stupid "loveline" to get more screentime or whatever he was after. And he tried to pull the same shit on Youngji.

If a girl is uncomfortable with your advances you need to back off. He just does not seem to get that and I have no idea why.

You can't blame him tbh- that episode where his parents visited, they said he was feeling suicidal/depressed(?) when he didn't get any gigs so :/

He's trying his best to get that airtime but yeah it can be a bit much sometimes

I understand that. Again, I don't begrudge him for wanting to get airtime, every celeb does that to a certain extent, but his attitude and how he goes about doing so is really off putting for me. That and after having acheived fame, he seems kind of cocky

him and dong wook, tbh.

to a certain extent i feel bad for him because i think some of things that happen in roommate are due to the producer's involvement. the part between seho and nana seemed 100% scripted to me and i think the writers gave up on it when they realized that it wasn't drawing in viewership. at least with nana, she has enough sass to hold her own, but the idea of seho going after youngji is just gross. the age difference between him and nana was bad enough but girl is almost young enough to be his kid.

i don't know how he or the producers think this is good for his image because he's just coming across as the creepy uncle. like 20-something jackson and kang joon can control themselves but a 30 year-old man can't?

regardless, seho needs to take some tips from joon hyung or something. that guy is effortlessly funny and he manages to say things about the girls without coming off as creepy or try hard.

My problem with Seho is that I find him fake as fuck. Everything he does is for the camera and only for the camera.

Then, you have guys like Jackson and Joon Hyung who have more humor in their little finger than he does in his entire body. Seho should have left after season 1. He doesn't have a place in the show anymore.

The Younji thing is so odd as he has just treated like a little sister on Roommate and other shows for the last few months. I'm guessing a producer/writer told him to do it, he should really have enough sense to say no after the Nana mess though.

I didn't see season 1 of Roommate but he was fucking unbearable when he turned up on Happy Together. Would never shut up, would inturupt the guests and main MC's all the time. He has chilled out now mainly because the other MC's ripped him apart for doing it.

My view on him is he walks a very thin line between being ok, somewhat amusing and being a massivly annoying unfunny try hard. For many he verges into the latter too much.

I honestly doubt that he did it because a producer told him to. The theme of the ep, or at least his section was to cook so that you can impress a girl. When serving the food and evaluating he kept making the moves on Youngji. The only other girls who were present were Nana, with who I think he still has a lot of bitterness from what I saw, and GukJoo, who I dunno, he didn't try?

So yeah he did it on Youngji. Which was uber awkward.

I have to agree with your assessment. I'm sure he's a talented comedian, but he needs to work on balancing his approach

"the age difference between him and nana was bad enough but girl is almost young enough to be his kid."

your point still makes no sense bc they're nowhere near "almost"

he'd have to be in his late thirties/early forties for your claim to even begin to make sense and even then he would be a "young father".

you can dislike him all you want but dont try to demonize him by insinuating things.

not to mention there are people with 10-20 yr age gaps that are happily married.
