They've really been on a roll with Jounetsu no Hana, DANCE INTO FANTASY, and now this! If only the album had been entirely original and not loaded with previous singles. I don't know, but if ATSUSHI is indeed heavily involved with EXILE's music production right now, that'll remember me of artists like Pharrell composing stuff for another peeps. I only know T. Part of the reason ATSUSHI took a hiatus was to step back and look at EXILE from an outsider's perspective. So it wouldn't be wrong to say that this direction is because of ATSUSHI. "Appease" is definitely the wrong word for it, though. It's not like he'd abandon the group if they had decided to continue down the EDM route. "inhale, EXHALE -- BELIEVE IN YOURSELF" ... It's a shame that 90% of the album is old material but I wasn't surprised. When you're as involved in a group as he is, it's difficult to see things from a clear perspective. Nothing in his letter about his hiatus from last year hinted there was any sort of trouble with him or the group. From the letter: "In order to make EXILE shine more than ever and to evolve EXILE TRIBE as a whole, I want to see EXILE and EXILE TRIBE objectively." "By viewing from a fans' point of view, which is different from the scenery seen on stage, I believe that I will be able to discover things I haven't seen or noticed as well as the potential of a new EXILE." "It may be selfish, but I am thinking about this in a very positive way." I feel that DocumentaLy really believes that ATSUSHI and EXILE are now like symbiotic entities. I completely agree with you. I'm not really sure of how EXILE would continue after Atsushi leaves (I mean look at other groups that had that happen to them, they're fine) but at the same time EXILE for sure is feeling the heat, since 3JSB is completely crushing them. He also explained how taking a hiatus would mean that he can see Exile from the "outside" and see what "they as a group" could fix later on... I've seen fans making comments of him leaving months ago from other social media I mean, is the fandom that boring to start drama? from my experience of being a fan, is a member were to leave the groups they wouldn't make a big announcement about it and if they did the would be straight to the point, that's just me...
