I don't follow the logic why couldn't SM just make an RV sister group called Blue Velvet and put the younger SM ROOKIE girls in it tho. That would've been better / cool. All of them sound good but the only one who could follow a chorus or be stable singing one live would be Wendy or even Seulgi. Joy and Irene are ok but their voices are more suited for pre-choruses and bridges. Those two are rappers already. That makes me wonder why we would need another rapper. Seulgi can definitely hold her own live. I could agree with you on Irene and kind of on Joy. I think of the four, Irene is the weakest live singer, but not bad by any means. Maybe Joy can be a full time lead vocalist now....IMO, she is good enough to be a lead, she's stable, sings with volume and has a pretty tone. EDIT: Thanks to the video posted above I see that she has a cute and nice voice. So perhaps she will just be like Joy, an all rounder that can sing well and occasionally raps. So they have been hinting this for a long time...!!! With that SM Rookies video! Maybe....RV was pushed out too early, and Yeri was meant to join from the beginning. But SM decided to debut them early....its not like Happiness was a difficult choreo to rearrange if they needed to change it quickly. She is super pretty!
